A modular energy storage system has: a battery module with a battery and internal circuitry; a control module with a power outlet, internal charge-and-discharge electrical components, and a power inlet for connection to a power source in use; the battery module defining a top seat that has an associated electrical connector; and the battery module being mounted to the control module below the control module by the top seat, whose respective associated electrical connector connects to the internal charge-and-discharge electrical components to permit the control module to: charge the battery module with power from the power source; and discharge the battery module by transferring power from the battery module to the power outlet.

Modular energy storage systems and related methods

A building element suitable for use in supporting model building sets. The building element is configured to be removably secured to a plurality of like or similar building elements to form a modular substructure for supporting model building sets. To that end, the building element may include a plurality of connector fitting arrangements disposed on the surfaces of the building element. In one embodiment, the building element is configured to be separable into half-sections and quarter-sections.

The male connection has at least two male receptor plugs configured for inserting into female receptor holes in the female connection end. A vacuum cleaner hose connection system is further disclosed having a male connection end that has at least two male receptor plugs for transmitting current, a female connection end having at least two female receptor holes for receiving the male receptor plugs, and the male and female connection ends being rotatably movable, about the longitudinal axis of at least one of the female connection end and the male connection end, between an unengaged position and an engaged position.
