Fluid dispenser

A front push tap dispenser has a flow configuration and a sealed configuration. The tap comprises a tap body, a spring button member and a valve seal member, with the two members connected by a flexible stem having two ends, each end connected to the spring button member and the valve seal member. When in the sealed configuration the spring button holds the flexible stem and the valve seal member so the valve seal member is sealingly engaged to the inner wall of the dispensing port. When in the flow configuration the spring button is depressed, which causes the flexible stem and the valve seal to move downwardly to unseal the dispensing port to allow fluid to be dispensed. When the spring button is released, it elastically springs back to the undepressed position, causing the valve seal member to sealingly engage with the inner wall of the dispensing port.

A fluid dispenser has a main body, a valve member, and a dome member. The dome member is attached to the valve member such that the valve member is slidable within the main body. Pressing on the dome member opens the valve so that fluid can flow out of a dispensing port in the main body. The main body has an outer flow surface and an inner flow surface. The valve has a face. In conjunction, the outer flow surface, inner flow surface, and face define a fluid passageway for fluid to flow exteriorly to the inner flow surface, interiorly to the outer flow surface, and exit the fluid dispenser via the dispensing port.

A volume metering dispenser comprises a body having a fluid cavity therein. The body further has a body wall, at least a portion of which is transparent or translucent, thereby permitting the operator to see the level of fluid within at least a portion of the fluid cavity. A valve is disposed within the body portion, the valve comprises a seal. The seal is selectively engaged to the body in order to selectively dispense fluid. The volume metering dispenser further comprises a resilient member. The resilient member is elastically deformable and the valve is attached to the resilient member.

Devices, systems, and methods for measuring tissue oxygen saturation (StO) within the body are disclosed. A patient interface for use with a tissue measurement instrument can include a spring clip having a first arm and a second arm, a spring configured to bias the first and second arms together, and a means for optically connecting the patient interface to the tissue measurement instrument. The patient interface can be used in conjunction with an optical sourcing and receiving unit of a monitor for measuring tissue oxygen saturation at a measurement site on the patient. A testing interface on an external portion of the instrument housing and a testing module can be used to perform tests on the instrument.
