A soft tissue retraction system may include a support body. A soft tissue retraction system may include a bone engaging concavity on a first side of the support body. A soft tissue retraction system may include a soft tissue retracting surface on a second side of the support body. The system may include a first guide configured to receive a first pin to anchor the first pin into a bone when the bone is positioned within the bone engaging concavity. The system may include a second guide configured to receive a second pin to anchor the second pin into the bone when the bone is positioned within the bone engaging concavity.

Stabilizing retractor system

A depth sensing dilator system for dilating a penetration in a tissue plane includes an elongate flexible body, having a proximal end and a distal end. The body has a tapered dilator segment, and at least a first electrode on a distal end of the body. The system includes a processor and a user interface output device. The processor is configured to send a first signal to the output device when a change in impedance at the first electrode indicates that the first electrode has reached a predetermined relationship with the tissue plane.

Depth sensing dilator system

A transseptal crossing needle has an elongate, flexible tubular body, having a proximal end, a distal end and an electrically conductive sidewall defining a central lumen. The distal end has a radially inwardly extending annular recess. The tubular body has a first outside diameter proximally of the annular recess and a second, smaller outside diameter in the recess. An electrode tip has a proximally extending connector residing within the annular recess, and the electrode tip has a third outside diameter distally of the connector, which is greater than the first diameter. An insulation layer encloses the sidewall and the connector, and has an outside diameter approximately the same as the third diameter to provide a uniform outside diameter throughout a distal zone of the needle.

Transseptal crossing needle

Disclosed is a stabilizing retractor system for orthopedic fracture repair. A backing plate is configured to support the back of a wrist or ankle. At least a first soft tissue retractor includes a first support body having a first bone engaging concavity on a first side of the body on a distal portion of the body, configured to engage a first side of a bone. A first soft tissue retracting surface is provided on a second side of the body, proximal to the bone engaging concavity. A second soft tissue retractor may be provided for engaging a second side of the bone. The retractors may be pinned to the bone, and may be radiolucent.

Single use radiolucent stabilizing retractor system

A self-contained, battery powered transseptal crossing system is disclosed. An elongate, flexible electrically conductive needle body has a proximal end and a distal end. An insulation layer surrounds the sidewall and leaves exposed a distal electrode tip. A generator is configured to deliver RF energy to the electrode tip, and includes a processor configured to take impedance measurements at the tip to confirm contact with the intra atrial septum and/or confirm entry into the left atrium.

Transseptal crossing system

A radiolucent, 3-D printed soft tissue retractor includes an elongate, curved support body having a long central axis that exceeds the length of a short, transverse axis. A bone engaging concavity is provided on a first side of the body. A concave soft tissue retracting surface is provided on a second side of the body. An inflection point is provided on the body in between the bone engaging concavity and the soft tissue retracting surface. The soft tissue retractor is configured to cooperate with a second soft tissue retractor and a backing plate to retract tissue and stabilize bones during a surgical distal radius fracture repair.

Radiolucent, 3-D printed soft tissue retractor

A stabilizing retractor system for distal radius fracture repair includes a backing plate configured to support the back of the wrist and having a first side accessible on a first side of the wrist, a second side accessible on a second side of the wrist. A first soft tissue retractor is engageable with the backing plate and has a first radius engaging concavity on a first side, and a first soft tissue retracting surface on a second side. A second soft tissue retractor is engageable with the backing plate and has a second radius engaging concavity on a first side, and a first soft tissue retracting surface on a second side. The first and second tissue retractors may be advanced apart from each other to retract tissue, and retained by a tie which connects the first and second retractors around the back of the backing plate.
