A material sprayer includes a hopper module and a power module. The power module is mountable and dismountable from the hopper module. The hopper module includes a hopper frame and a hopper supported by the hopper frame. The power module includes a drive and a pump connected to and configured to be powered by the drive. The pump interfaces with the hopper with the power module mounted on the hopper frame such that the pump can draw material from the hopper.

Material sprayer

A motor assembly includes a shaft, an electric motor operatively connected to the shaft to drive the shaft in a first rotational direction, a clutch assembly connected to the shaft, and a fan connected to the clutch assembly and configured to supply the electric motor with cooling air. The clutch assembly drives the fan when the electric motor drives the shaft and allows the fan to freewheel in the first rotational direction when the electric motor is not driving the shaft. A method of operating a fan cooled electric motor includes energizing the electric motor to drive a shaft in a first rotational direction using the electric motor and de-energizing the electric motor so that it no longer drives the shaft, allowing the fan to freewheel in the first rotational direction.

A screed die box includes a screed die bucket, a screed die box gate, a screed die box lever, a screed plate, and a positioning member. The screed die box gas is slidably connected at the bottom of the screed die bucket. The screed die box lever is rotatably connected to the screed die bucket and the screed die box gate for sliding the screed die box gate between an open position and a closed position. The screed plate is slidably connected along an aft side of the screed die bucket and includes a positioning aperture. The positioning member is located in the screed die bucket and engages the screed plate, the positioning member sliding the screed plate as the positioning member is rotated.

In a propulsion unit having a hydrostatic drive, a pair of pedals are clamped to the axle in such a manner as to be comfortably positioned for the feet of the operator. The angular position of each pedal relative to the axle may be adjusted such that the two pedals may have different angular orientations if desired. One pedal may be comfortably positioned for directing forward motion of the vehicle while the other may be more comfortable for reverse motion.

The bead dispenser is formed from rotational molded plastic such that a hole is cored through the center of the dispenser which allows the linkage to travel through the dispenser and locate the dispenser door on the opposite side of the dispenser from the spray gun. A number of panels across the slot opening may be adjusted upwardly and downwardly to vary the width as desired by the operator.

Glass bead dispenser

A line striper is attached to a vehicle with a two point hitch and has a swivelable rotatable wheel mounted thereunder to support the striper on the ground. A main beam is releasably clamped and may be slid from side to side depending on operator preference. The gun boom may then be located on the desired side. A delay feature on the control allows the operator to look ahead on a sighting camera and pick the point at which he or she desires striping to start (or stop or any other operation). The controller then compensates for the calibrated distance between the sight point and the spray gun and then starts and stops the gun at the appropriate time given road speed.

Vehicle towed apparatus for striping of roads

A reciprocable liquid pump having a priming cylinder affixed beneath the lower valve housing, and a priming piston rod affixed to the lower end of the pump piston valve assembly. A priming piston and priming valve are affixed to the lower end of the priming piston rod, the priming piston being slidable over a limited range of movement along the priming piston rod and having a central opening with a beveled valve seat. The priming valve forms a conical valve surface which is engageable against the priming piston valve seat to provide a controllable flow path through the center opening of the priming piston.
