The present invention concerns a chemical mechanical polishing pad having a polishing layer. The polishing layer contains an extruded sheet. The extruded sheet is a photopolymerizable composition containing a block copolymer, a UV curable acrylate, and a photoinitiator.

Chemical mechanical polishing pad and preparation thereof

The invention pertains to a photosensitive element, particularly a photopolymerizable printing form precursor; a method of preparing the photosensitive element to form a printing form for use in relief printing; and, a process of making the photosensitive element. The printing form precursor includes a layer of a photosensitive composition, a digital layer that is adjacent to a side of the photosensitive layer, and a cell pattern layer that is disposed between the photosensitive layer and the digital layer. The cell pattern layer includes a plurality of features in which each feature an area between 5 to 750 square microns and is composed of an ink that is opaque to actinic radiation and transparent to infrared radiation. Since the cell pattern layer is integral with the printing form precursor, digital imaging can occur rapidly with relatively low resolution optics to form a mask without needing to also form a microcell pattern of the digital layer. The printing form precursor having the integrated cell pattern layer facilitates the preparation of relief printing forms to have a print surface suitable for printing solids with uniform, dense coverage of ink.

The present invention concerns a chemical mechanical polishing pad having a polishing layer. The polishing layer contains an extruded sheet. The extruded sheet is prepared by extruding a compounded photopolymerizable composition followed by exposure to UV light.

A photosensitive element, particularly a photopolymerizable printing form precursor; a method of preparing the photosensitive element to form a printing form for use in relief printing; and a process of making the photosensitive element are disclosed. The printing form precursor includes a layer of a photosensitive composition, a digital layer that is adjacent to a side of the photosensitive layer, and a cell pattern layer that is disposed between the photosensitive layer and the digital layer. The present invention relates to a printing form for flexographic printing. The printing form contains microcell patterns on its relief printing surface. The presence of these microcell patterns allows for printing with a higher anilox roll volume. Also disclosed are five specific microcell patterns.

A liquid take-up mechanism may be used in connection with a spray bottle having a first and second vertical tube section, an internal member capture, a horizontal tube section, an angled tube section, and a rotation connection member. The internal member capture may be adjacent the first and second vertical tube sections. The horizontal tube section may be secured to the second vertical tube section. The angled tube section may be secured to the horizontal tube section. The rotation connection member may have a housing and an internal member, which may be carried by the internal member capture. The first and second vertical tube sections may be adapted to be carried by the housing. The internal member may be adapted to interface between the first and second vertical tube sections. A beverage lid system may include a beverage lid and a stirrer that may be connected to a portion of the beverage lid. The beverage lid may include an outer lid member and an inner lid member rotatably carried by an interior portion of the outer lid member. The stirrer may be adapted to be connected to a portion of the inner lid member. The inner lid member is rotatable with respect to the outer lid member so that when the stirrer is connected to the inner lid member, the stirrer is moveable with the inner lid member.

Beverage lid system, beverage lid and associated methods

A beverage lid system may include a beverage lid and a stirrer that may be connected to a portion of the beverage lid. The beverage lid may include an outer lid member, a medial lid member rotatably carried by an interior portion of the outer lid member, and an inner lid member rotatably carried by an interior portion of the medial lid member. The stirrer may be adapted to be connected to a portion of the medial lid member. The medial lid member is rotatable with respect to both the outer lid member and the inner lid member so that when the stirrer is connected to the medial lid member, the stirrer is moveable with the medial lid member.

The invention provides a method and apparatus for mounting two or more cylindrically-shaped printing forms onto a cylindrically-shaped base. The base can be a print cylinder or an adapter mounted onto a print cylinder. The method and apparatus provide for positioning the two or more printing forms in register on the base. The two or more printing forms are axially oriented on the base using pressurized air as an air cushion between the base and the printing forms, positioned in a registration position, and engaged by a holding member to maintain the two or more printing forms in their respective registration position.

Method for mounting cylindrically-shaped printing forms

The invention relates to a process for preparing a flexographic printing plate from a photosensitive element having a photopolymerizable layer and a thermally removable layer on the photopolymerizable layer. The process includes imagewise exposing the photosensitive element and thermally treating the exposed element to form a relief suitable for use in flexographic printing. The thermally removable layer can be transparent or opaque to actinic radiation. The invention also relates to a photosensitive element for use in this process. The photosensitive element includes a photopolymerizable layer and at least one thermally removable layer having a filler and a binder, wherein the binder is less than 49% by weight, based on the total weight of the binder and filler.

Process for making a flexographic printing plate and a photosensitive element for use in the process

Holographic images are constructed in a recording material in accordance with a temporal interleaving technique in which a first set of images is constructed for a predetermined first imaging time with a predetermined first time gap being defined between each of the images. Thereafter, in accordance with a subsequent predetermined sequence a subsequent set of images is constructed into the same predetermined location. The image sets have at least one member in common. In one aspect all of the images are constructed into the same predetermined defined region of the holographic recording material (an angle hologram). In another aspect the predetermined defined region into which each of the images is constructed is separate from all other regions of the holographic recording material (a spatial hologram).
