The present disclosure relates generally to a gaming machine display device mount system including a mount frame that slidably interconnects with a receiver bracket installed in a cabinet of a gaming machine. A display device is attached to the mount frame and, prior to assembling the mount frame to the receiver bracket, the cabling of the display device is coiled and contained within a portion of the mount frame. The display device and the mount frame together form a display mount assembly, which is then interconnected with the receiver bracketin the gaming machine. Once interconnected, the mount frame is fastened to the receiver bracket from the interior compartment of the gaming machine providing a secure tamperproof assembly. The gaming machine display device mount system allows a single installer to assemble the display mount assembly to the gaming machine safely and without assistance.

A mounting bracket includes a substantially planar panel defining a first edge, a second edge opposite the first edge, a first surface, and a second surface opposite the first surface. The substantially planar panel defines a tapered slot open at the first edge, extending from the first edge toward the second edge, and terminating in a slot apex opposite the first edge. A bracket receptor includes an annular projection and a shaft extending from the annular projection. The annular projection extends beyond one or more sides of the shaft. The shaft of the bracket receptor is selectively positioned within the slot apex of the mounting bracket such that the annular projection of the bracket receptor is positioned adjacent the first surface of the substantially planar panel and the shaft of the bracket receptor extends beyond the second surface of the substantially planar panel.

Mounting assemblies for a gaming device and associated methods

Provided in embodiments of the present invention is a chair sled locking mechanism for use with a gaming device. In one example embodiment, a chair sled includes a sled body having a chair attachment connector disposed at a first end of the sled body and a cavity disposed at a second end of the sled body. A latching unit is disposed in the cavity of the sled body along with a spring that is configured to hold the latching unit in a locked position. A latch cover covers the cavity of the sled body. At least one of the latch cover or sled body includes an opening that allows an operator to manipulate the latching unit to an unlocked position.

Chair sled locking mechanism for gaming device

The present invention provides a mechanical display and indication for gaming devices. The display includes a set of symbols or indicia. The displays also cooperate with a plurality of radially spaced apart translating indicators, such as arrows. The indicators translate radially and sequentially, each pointing at one point towards a respective, associated symbol. The player can see each symbol and thus is able to know which symbols are relatively better than others. The radially translating indicators provide a random, visual element to the outcome, wherein the player watches the indicators sequentially point to different symbols until the motion stops, leaving a single or multiple indicated symbol(s), which is(are) provided in some fashion to the player.
