A multi-axis vibration sensor with integral magnet optimizes sensor response in a non-permanently attachable package. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the apparatus includes a housing having a magnet, a multi-axis vibration sensor for sensing vibration along multiple machine axes, and conditioning circuitry disposed within the housing. The magnet enables the apparatus to be placed in sensory contact with the machine. The vibration sensor senses machine vibration along multiple machine axes when the apparatus is in sensory contact with the machine, and the conditioning circuitry optimizes the frequency response of the vibration sensor by reducing the gain of the sensor output at resonance. The vibration sensor may be mounted directly to existing machine structure, such as the machine's outer casing. Two parallel feet facilitate stable mounting of the sensor curved surface. A keyed mounting pad may be employed to facilitate proper orientation of the sensor.

Multi-axis vibration sensor with integral magnet

An integral magnet vibration sensor apparatus optimizes sensor response in a non-permanently attachable package. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the apparatus includes a housing having a magnet, a vibration sensor, and a conditioning circuit disposed within the housing. The magnet enables the apparatus to be magnetically attached to a machine. The vibration sensor senses machine vibration when the apparatus is attached to the machine, and the conditioning circuit optimizes the frequency response of the vibration sensor in a preferred embodiment by reducing the gain of the sensor output at resonance.

Integral magnet vibration sensor

An integrated lubricant analyzer apparatus. The apparatus includes a housing having a first fluid inlet port in flow communication with a chemical analysis device. A second fluid inlet port is included in the housing in flow communication with a particle analyzer. The housing also includes a third fluid inlet port in flow communication with an optical particle counting device. A syringe degassing port is attached to the housing for inverting and degassing a syringe containing a fluid sample for a particle count analysis before the fluid sample is injected into the third fluid inlet port. The apparatus includes a sample analysis sequencing procedure and a microprocessor for collection and manipulation of data from the chemical analysis device, the particle analyzer and the particle counting device. Features of the invention enable a trivector analysis of a fluid for maintaining machinery containing the fluid.

Integrated lubricant analyzer

A sampling apparatus is described which contains a cylindrical member containing first and second annular recesses on opposing sides thereof and an opening therethrough. At least one resilient sealing member is disposed in each of the recesses. At least one foraminous support disposed in the cylindrical member over the opening adjacent the first recess. A porous medium is adjacent the foraminous support between the foraminous support and the sealing member. A compression housing is provided which contains first and second housing members for compressing the cylindrical member, sealing members, foraminous support and porous medium between the first and second housing members and a clamping means for compressing the sealing members to form a fluid tight seal. A fluid sample is fed by means of a fluid inlet in the first housing member which inlet is in flow communication with the opening, porous medium and foraminous support. The fluid sample is also in flow communication with a fluid outlet in the second housing member. The clamping means is specially adapted to provide rapid insertion and removal of porous media from the sampling apparatus.
