The present invention provides wireless sensor technology seamlessly integrated into a pump system having a pump, a motor and a drive, has diagnostic and prognostic intelligence that utilizes sensor data, allows real-time condition monitoring; enables easy access to data and analytics via smart devices (i.e., smart phones and tablets); allows for easy remote monitoring (i.e., web portal) of the pump system; allows self-learning artificial intelligence (AI) built-in that adapts to changing conditions; and allows for smart pump system remote control. In operation, the present invention monitors the health and performance of the pump system that allows the user to get real-time data and intelligence virtually anywhere and anytime, as well as real-time diagnostics and prognostics, and also allows for smart control of the pump system remotely via smart device, and reduces downtime of equipment.

A system for performing sensor data analytics for equipment diagnostics featuring an alarm signature and diagnostic detector having a signal processor configured to receive signaling containing information about an alarm signature for sensed data that is time-stamped for captured alarm signature parameters in order to monitor rotary equipment, and also about diagnostic detector signatures for diagnostic detectors related to alarm conditions for the rotary equipment; and determine corresponding signaling containing information about an alarm diagnosis based upon a match between the alarm signature and one of the diagnostic detector signatures contained in the signaling received.

A sensing module for configuring on a vibrating machine or structure, such as a pump or pump assembly is provided. The sensing module includes an outer shell configured with a recessed portion, and encapsulated electronics having a multicolored light array arranged inside the outer shell. The multicolored light array responds to signaling containing information about a condition being sensed or monitored by the sensing module and provides along a projection axis at least one beam of light containing information about the condition. The signaling is received from one or more of the other encapsulated electronics, including an accelerometer or temperature sensing device. The sensing module includes a domed lens configured in the recessed portion of the outer shell, and configured to project the at least one beam of light along the projection axis with a visibility of 360&#xb0; for viewing from afar, by an observer visually monitoring the sensing module.
