An illumination device comprises a circuit board that carries solid-state light sources and a heat transfer structure to which the circuit board is intimately physically coupled such that the circuit board is curved along at least one of a longitudinal dimension or a lateral dimension thereof. Such may allow less fasteners to be used than would otherwise be possible, while maintaining close contact over a large portion of the surface area. Some embodiments may employ a clamp, for example a peripheral clamp such as a cover or bezel clamp.

A cheese slicer having a flat base and a blade holder releasably pivotally secured to the base for moving from a locked upright cheese slicing position to a lowered storing position. A unique wide, flat blade slidably carried in the blade holder and having an upper end with a large handle and a lower end. The lower end having a downwardly and rearwardly sloping separating surface terminating in a downwardly protruding blunt slicing edge.

A toy blimp (20) including a gas filled body (22), a plurality of fins (26), a propulsion system (28) attached to a lower surface of the body, and one or more small weight clips (80). A refill valve (30) may be located on the body surface. Various embodiments of the propulsion system are provided, including a rubberband powered system, a small wind-up spring-loaded motor, and a spool-type rubberband motor.
