Dispensing devices and systems for oral transmucosal administration of small volume drug dosage forms to the oral mucosa are provided. The dispensing device may be a single dose applicator (SDA), or an electromechanical device comprising a means for patient identification such as a wrist worn RFID tag and annular bidirectional antenna together with a lock-out feature.

Storage and dispensing devices for administration of oral transmucosal dosage forms

Single dose drug dosage form dispensing devices, and methods for operating such devices are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a housing defining an actuation pathway and a pusher. At least a portion of the pusher is disposed within the actuation pathway such that distal end portions of the pusher and the housing define a volume configured to contain a drug-containing tablet. The pusher is configured to move relative to the housing in a distal direction from a first position to a second position to expel the tablet from the volume. The distal end portion of the pusher is extended from an opening in the housing when the pusher is in its second position. The housing is configured to limit movement of the pusher relative to the housing in a proximal direction towards the first position of the pusher after the tablet is expelled.

Apparatus and methods for dispensing oral transmucosal dosage forms

Devices and methods are provided for controlling and indicating the deployed length of an interventional element on an interventional catheter. The interventional element may be a stent or series of stents, a balloon, or any other interventional element for which length control is necessary or desirable. Devices for controlling the length of the interventional element include gear driven actuators, motors, and other mechanisms. Devices for indicating length of an interventional element to the user include sensors, detents, visual displays and other mechanisms providing visual, audible, and tangible indications of length to the user. The control and indication devices preferably work in tandem to enable highly precise adjustment of interventional element length.

Devices and methods for controlling and indicating the length of an interventional element

A hard disk drive bracket includes a bezel, a lever arm attached to the bezel rotatably between a closed position against the bezel and an open position apart from the bezel, wherein a hard disk drive is locked into the hard disk drive bracket when the lever arm is in the closed position, and a multifunction wireform, wherein the multifunction wireform latches the lever arm in the closed position and releases the lever arm into the open position. The hard disk drive bracket may include a release button, wherein the multifunction wireform releases the lever arm upon pressing of the release button. The multifunction wireform may hold and bias the release button. A method of operating a hard disk drive bracket includes disposing a multifunction wireform into a bezel; attaching a lever arm to the bezel rotatably between a closed position and an open position; latching a lever arm against the bezel in the closed position and releasing the latched lever arm into the open position based on operation of the multifunction wireform. The method may include holding and biasing a release button by the multifunction wireform.

Embodiments of the present invention provide a spring loaded attachment mechanism for attaching a camera to a camera support or base. In one embodiment, a camera attachment apparatus comprises an attachment socket connected to a camera, the attachment socket including an aperture extending in a longitudinal direction and a pair of cutouts disposed laterally on opposite sides of the attachment socket; a spring having a pair of spring arms disposed respectively at the pair of cutouts on opposite sides of the attachment socket; and an attachment pin including a post having a longitudinal axis and configured to be inserted into the aperture of the attachment socket along the longitudinal direction, the post including a pair of seats disposed on opposite sides of the post to receive the pair of spring arms of the spring via the pair of cutouts of the attachment socket.

In one embodiment, the motherboard has a first connector and the system further includes a printed circuit board having a second connector, wherein the motherboard support system slides between a first position in which the connectors are connected and a second position in which the connectors are disconnected. In another embodiment, the system includes a component mounted to the chassis, wherein the motherboard support system is slidably supported within a plane between the component and the chassis. In one embodiment, an actuator is provided to slide the motherboard support system.
