An unmanned vehicle (UV) navigation system is provided. The UV navigation system comprises a processor, a communication interface for communicating with a remote station, and a non-transitory memory device storing machine-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, causes the processor to navigate the UV. The processor is configured to receive data from sensors, camera or data line for UV processor analysis, determine that a link-free trigger event has occurred, and autonomously navigate the UV in response to the trigger event.

Systems and methods for autonomous navigation and computation of unmanned vehicles

A system and method are provided for switching between conversations in instant messaging applications. The instant messaging application is configured for displaying a list of conversations upon detecting selection of the option within a menu or link within the conversation screen and permit navigation to another conversation. The conversations may be prioritized based first on whether the conversation has any unread messages and within the grouping of those conversations having unread messages, may be prioritized based on when the last activity occurred. In this way, the user has easiest access to conversations with the most recent activity with the ability to scroll down the list of conversations to continue an older conversation if desired.

A system and method are provided that utilize a set of heuristics to more intelligently determine when to utilize an audible tone associated with a notification profile or other mechanism used to alert a user of events such as an incoming instant message. The heuristics employed consider the layering of the message screens for the corresponding conversations, in combination with one or more device usage indicators such as the status of the backlight, the idle timer, and the orientation of the mobile deviceA itself as indicated by the orientation sensor.
