Systems and methods for sensor normalization are described. An example of a method includes receiving a first value of a characteristic measured by a first sensor of a first sensor type, and receiving a second value of the characteristic measured by a second sensor of a second sensor type that is more accurate than the first sensor type. A normalization for the first sensor is determined based on the first value and the second value, wherein the normalization alters a response equation of the first sensor. Normalizing another sensor of a same time as the first sensor, based, at least in part, on the normalization.

A record ingestion circuit may receive action record data from a user tool that describes an action performed with the user tool by the user. An application programming interface (API) circuit may receive from a requesting application a query for data describing the plurality of actions and send to the requesting application the data describing the plurality of actions.

Various systems and methods for providing and deploying a power harvesting drone are described herein. A power harvesting drone includes a motor assembly; an energy replenishment coupler; a processor communicatively coupled to the energy replenishment coupler; and a memory storing instructions, which when executed by the processor cause the processor to: operate the power harvesting drone to navigate a predetermined path; determine that a power supply used to operate the power harvesting drone is below a threshold of remaining power; identify an opportunistic energy source; and deviate from the predetermined path to replenish at least a portion of the power supply from the opportunistic energy source using the energy replenishment coupler onboard the power harvesting drone.

Embodiments of a system and methods for displaying virtual or augmented reality are generally described herein. An image of a user may be captured using a camera. Real space in the image may be mapped and a first orientation may be determined relative to a static portion of the user, using the image. A first portion of a virtual reality image may be displayed on a display screen. In response to determining a second orientation of the device relative to the static portion of the user, a second portion of the virtual reality image may be displayed on a display screen.

Systems and methods may provide for obtaining a seed value from a location on a beacon device, using the seed value to initiate generation of a pseudo random number (PRN) tree having time-dependent branches, and sending a beacon signal based on the PRN tree and a timing schedule that corresponds to the time-dependent branches. Additionally, a PRN may be received, via an out-of-band link, at an observation device, wherein the PRN is associated with a particular time period. In one example, the PRN may be used by the observation device to generate a subset of a PRN number tree that corresponds to the particular time period. The observation device may also conduct a proximity determination of whether a detected beacon signal corresponds to one or more time-dependent branches of the subset of the PRN tree.

This EPG merges two models of distribution for broadcast content (e.g., EPGs) and video on demand (VOD) systems (e.g., video catalogs) to address the problem of acquiring a recording of a program that was broadcast in the past. The EPG of the present invention provides a combined, unified user interface whereby a user may easily obtain a copy of any one or more of past, current, or future programs.
