An efficient reverse-thrusting modular propeller combines a center hub and a set of identical and replaceable blades. Each such blade has a radially and laterally symmetrical hydrofoil cross-section but disposed along a full wave (360&#xb0;) sinusoidal mean camber line. The blades all feature a very strong thicker symmetric hydrofoil cross-section at the propeller root which widens with a longer sinusoidal mean camber line wavelength, and thins in amplitude moving outward, and then the blades narrow again in shorter wavelength and thin more in diminishing amplitudes progressing toward the distal tip. Localized cupping on the leading or trailing edges is ruled-out as undesirable and counterproductive.

Efficient reverse thrusting modular propeller

A modular propeller comprises a center hub with an integrated front cap and an aluminum core encapsulated with fiber-reinforced composite polymer resin. A set of replaceable blades have bases that slip into and interlock with corresponding slots in the center hub. An elongated rear cap retains the blades in the center hub. The rear cap includes a nozzle section for expelling exhaust gasses that pass through the center parts of the hub and blade bases.

Modular propeller

A detachable eyeglass assembly for a visored headgear includes a clip for removable attachment to the visor. The clip is adopted to extend from one side edge to the other side edge of the visor perpendicular to the wearer's frontal line of vision, and the visor is gripped or frictionally retained at it opposite side edges by the clip. An eyeglass member having a transparent portion connects to the clip by pivot means so as to be able to tilt up out of the user's line of vision. The length of the clips between the ends that grasp the side edges of the visor, is adjustable whereby the distance between the sunglass member and the user's eyes is selectable. The detachable sunglass assembly is useable on a variety of visored headgear.
