A nail cutter is provided that includes a blade and a unitary body. The blade includes a cutting edge. The unitary body includes a first member, a second member, a third member, and a plurality of flexible hinges. The blade extends from a proximal end of the first member. A proximal end of the second member is disposed opposite the cutting edge of the blade. The plurality of flexible hinges are configured such that, when a proximal end of the third member is transitioned from a first position to a second position, the unitary body flexes at the plurality of flexible hinges so as to decrease a distance between the cutting edge and the proximal end of the second member. Single blade nail cutter

A nail cutter is provided that includes a first member and a second member. A first end portion of the first member includes a blade. A first end portion of the second member does not include a blade. The first and second members are coupled such that the first member is movable relative to the second member between first and second positions and, when the first member moves from the first position to the second position, the blade moves toward the first end portion of the second member. A third member is coupled to the first member and is movable between third and fourth positions. Moving the third member from the third position to the fourth position moves the first member, relative to the second member, from the first position to the second position.
