Disclosed embodiments include systems and methods for providing maintenance to a pump of a pumping unit in situ within a red zone of a pressurized wellbore services system. Ballistic barriers may be disposed between the pumping unit and the pressurized wellbore services manifold, and the pump may be remotely isolated from fluid communication with the wellbore services manifold and depressurized. Additionally, a secondary barrier, for example on a shielded work platform, may further protect workers, allowing for safe and efficient maintenance of the pump.

Wellbore services system with anytime access for pump maintenance

Regulating downhole fluid flow through a plurality of valves to treat wellbore sections while also allowing for production to continue. If it is determined that fluid flow through a valve of a plurality of valves is below a threshold, maintaining fluid flow through the below threshold valve may be maintained while restricting fluid flow through other valves of the plurality. This restriction fluidly isolates a section of a well from other sections of the well. Once isolated, a treatment substance may be injected through the below threshold valve into the isolated section of well. Afterwards, the closed valves may be reopened while restricting fluid flow through the treated section valve for a threshold period of time. the treated section valve may then be reopened after the threshold period of time.

Methods to regulate downhole fluid flow through a plurality of valves and downhole fluid flow regulation systems

The disclosure presents systems and methods for hot swapping pumps at a wellsite while minimizing the impact to the pumping operations. As one pump is swapped out, such as for maintenance, the remaining pumps in the set of pumps at the wellsite can continue pumping operations. In some aspects, the swapping of pumps can be performed by a user using a protection barrier to isolate the pump location where the pumps will be swapped. In some aspects, one or more of the steps to swap pumps can be performed through automation thereby minimizing danger to a user. In some aspects, the pump being located at the pump system can be primed and pressure tested prior to be located to improve the time to enable the pump for pumping operations.

Continuous pumping operations using decoupled pump maintenance

A cable transport system, method, and apparatus are disclosed. In certain embodiments, a cable transport system comprises a cable transport assembly comprising a frame, wherein the frame comprises one or more bottom supports. In certain embodiments, the cable transport assembly comprises a first radii support coupled to a first end of the frame and a second radii support coupled to a second end of the frame, and one or more cables positioned longitudinally on the one or more bottom supports of the frame.

The disclosure provides a manifold comprising a trailer and a piping system. The piping system is disposed on top of the trailer, wherein the piping system comprises a first set of conduits and a second set of conduits. Each of the first set of conduits and the second set of conduits comprises a first line comprising an inlet disposed at a first side of the trailer and a second line comprising an inlet disposed at the first side of the trailer, wherein the first line is disposed above the second line. There is a plurality of outlets and a plurality of valves disposed along the second line.

The piping system is disposed on top of the trailer, wherein the piping system comprises a low-pressure system and a high-pressure system. The low-pressure system comprises a first set of conduits and a second set of conduits. A plurality of clean fluid pumps fluidically coupled to a common line, the plurality of clean fluid pumps configured to pump a clean fluid. A plurality of individual lines extending from the common line to a plurality of wellbores, each wellbore of the plurality of wellbores having at least one individual line of the plurality of lines solely fluidically coupled thereto. A plurality of dirty fluid pumps, each wellbore of the plurality of wellbores having at least one of the dirty pumps solely fluidically coupled thereto, the fluidic coupling being downstream from the common line. A flow control device, such as a choke, installed in at least one of the individual lines, the installation being downstream from the common line and upstream from the point of the fluidic coupling of the at least one dirty fluid pump to the corresponding wellbore.

Aspects of the subject technology relate to systems and methods for injecting down-hole tools into a fracturing line. A fracturing system may include a fracturing line of a respective wellbore and a launcher operationally coupled to the fracturing line though a respective supply line at a pressure lower than a pressure of the fracturing line. The fracturing system may further include a magazine containing a plurality of down-hole tools that is operationally coupled to the launcher for sending a down-hole tool of the plurality of down-hole tools to the launcher. The fracturing system may also include a launching chamber operationally coupled to the respective supply line for receiving the down-hole tool and having a pressure automatically adjustable to substantially equal the pressure of the fracturing line after the launching chamber is sealed from the respective supply line for disposing the down-hole tool into the fracturing line.

Multiple down-hole tool injection system and method

A pressure switch system provides a safety mechanism for equipment at a well site environment to prevent the opening or release of certain components when an unsafe condition exists. A pressure switch assembly of the system includes a diaphragm that transitions to an extended position as pressure of a pressurized fluid is flowed through a fluid pathway of the assembly. The diaphragm couples to a pin that transitions along with a dart based on the pressure at the diaphragm. When pressure reaches or exceeds a threshold, the dart is transitioned to a location proximate to a sensor. The sensor triggers actuation of a switch to prevent release or opening of a remote connector of a hydraulics unit until the pressure is at or falls below the threshold. The threshold is set to a pressure based on the unsafe condition.

Flow exchanger system, trans-pressure conduction system for high pressure sand slurry delivery system

Methods relating to servicing fluids that comprise gelled liquefied petroleum gas or servicing fluids that comprise a conventional gelled hydrocarbon fluid with liquefied petroleum gas are provided. In one embodiment, the methods of the present invention comprise providing a LPG servicing fluid comprising LPG and a gelling agent; pressurizing the LPG servicing fluid with one or more high-pressure pumps; introducing proppant particulates into at least a portion of the LPG servicing fluid using one or more high pressure pumps; and introducing the LPG servicing fluid comprising proppant particulates into at least a portion of a subterranean formation at a rate and pressure sufficient to create or enhance at least one or more fractures therein. In one embodiment, a gelling agent may be metered into the LPG on-the-fly.

A threaded connection assembly comprises a nut, a multiplier connected to the nut via a first threaded interface having a first number of threads per inch and a well servicing pipe coupling connected to the multiplier via a second threaded interface having a second number of threads per inch. A method of forming a threaded connection for a well servicing application comprises forming a pipe coupling between two well servicing pipe sections and threading a connector to the pipe coupling to form a threaded connection without impact loading the connector. Another method for forming a threaded connection comprises disposing a first pipe section partially within a nut, threading a multiplier into the nut, threading the multiplier onto a second pipe section, and leveraging the multiplier against the nut, or vice versa.
