A capacitive coupling includes a capacitive material and a conductor coupled to the capacitive material. The conductor and the capacitive material have a form factor to fixedly attach to either a connector housing or a chassis of an electronic device. The form factor of the conductor and the capacitive material is also to removably couple the connector housing and the chassis of the electronic device such that at least one signal frequency is passed between the connector housing and the chassis of the electronic device and a direct current is isolated between the connector housing and the chassis of the electronic device.

A device and method to eliminate contention for an accelerated graphics port (AGP). A video system includes an accelerated graphics port, a first location adapted to receive and couple an AGP controller to the accelerated graphics port, a second location adapted to receive and couple an AGP graphics accelerator chip to the accelerated graphics port, and at least one connector coupled to the accelerated graphics port that is adapted to receive an AGP graphics accelerator add-in card. A tamper detect device is provided to a chassis of a system. The tamper detect device provides a signal when the chassis is opened while at least a part of the system is under power. In one embodiment, the signal is used to produce an immediate warning. In another embodiment, the tamper detect device is incorporated into the system and the warning is audio. In another embodiment, the warning is continually provided until the chassis cover is closed, the system is unplugged, or the tamper detect device is bypassed. In another embodiment, the system is a computer system.
