An electrical discharge irrigation device includes a power source to produce power of a first voltage, a circuit coupled to the power source to convert the power of the first voltage to power of a second voltage where the second voltage is higher than the first voltage, a trigger to activate the circuit, an igniter coupled to the circuit to produce a spike, an electrical charge storage component coupled to the igniter the electrical charge storage component becoming conductive and storing an electrical charge after receiving the spike, and an output tip. The output tip includes an electrode and insulating material as an outer layer.

Electrical discharge irrigator apparatus and method

An electrical discharge irrigation includes a power source to produce a first voltage, a circuit coupled to the power source to convert the first voltage to a second voltage, a discharge capacitor to receive the second voltage from the circuit, a transistor and/or a controlled rectifier coupled to the discharge capacitor to receive the second voltage, and an output tip. This tip is coupled to a transistor and/or a controlled rectifier and includes a first end, a second end, a longitudinal axis extending between them, an electrode located in an interior space of the tip to receive an electrical charge from the a transistor and/or a controlled rectifier and to release an electric discharge, and a ground return. The ground return is an outside surface of the tip. A space between the electrode and the ground return holds a conductive medium in contact with the electrode and the ground return.

A female urine device includes a shell portion and a spout portion. The shell portion includes a bottom wall, a first sidewall, a second sidewall and a rear wall integrally connected to define a trough shaped inner chamber. A forward opening is defined by forward ends of the walls. An upper rim is defined by upper ends of the walls. The spout portion extends forward from the forward opening of the shell portion. A portion of the female urine device is phosphorescent.

An electrical discharge irrigation device and method is described. An electrical discharge irrigation device includes a power source, a circuit coupled to the power source, and an output tip coupled to the circuit. The output tip includes a first end and a second end and a longitudinal axis extending between them, an electrode located in an interior space of the output tip configured to receive an electrical charge from the circuit and to release an electric discharge, and a ground return including an inner surface of the output tip, wherein a space between the electrode and the ground return comprises a conductive medium, the conductive medium being in contact with the electrode and the ground return to produce the electric discharge.

A female urine device includes a shell and a resilient liner. The shell includes a bottom wall, a first sidewall, a second sidewall and a rear wall integrally connected to define an inner chamber. A forward opening is defined by forward ends of the walls. An upper rim is defined by upper ends of the walls. The resilient liner is disposed on the inner chamber. The liner extends forward past the forward opening of the shell to form a spout portion of the liner. At least one thumb rest is disposed on a sidewall of the shell and extends perpendicularly therefrom. The at least one thumb rest is sized to receive a thumb of a female and is operable as a fulcrum to enable the female to leverage the rim into sealing engagement with the female's genitalia when the female urine device is in use.

A low friction top coat over a multilayer metal/ceramic bondcoat provides a conductive substrate, such as a rotary tool, with wear resistance and corrosion resistance. The top coat further provides low friction and anti-stickiness as well as high compressive stress. The high compressive stress provided by the top coat protects against degradation of the tool due to abrasion and torsional and cyclic fatigue. Substrate temperature is strictly controlled during the coating process to preserve the bulk properties of the substrate and the coating. The described coating process is particularly useful when applied to shape memory alloys.

Urinary capture device

An electrical discharge irrigation device and method is described. The device includes a power source to produce a first voltage, a circuit coupled to the power source to convert the first voltage to a second voltage, a discharge capacitor to receive the second voltage from the circuit, a transistor or controlled rectifier coupled to the discharge capacitor to receive the second voltage, and an output tip. This output tip is coupled to the transistor or controlled rectifier and includes an electrode located in an interior space of the output tip configured to receive a charge from the transistor or controlled rectifier and to release an electric discharge, and a ground return. The ground return is an outside surface of the output tip and a space between the electrode and the ground return holds a conductive medium.

A device and method of using a device for photon-induced endodontic and periodontic applications includes a power source, a trigger coupled to the power source and circuit elements initiated by the trigger. The circuit elements include a timing circuit and a driver. A light source is coupled to the circuitry elements wherein and driver controls the period, cycle, and pulse generation of the light source to create photon induced acoustic waves. The optical assembly includes a fiber optic cable and an output tip and is coupled to the light source. This optical assembly refracts light from the light source and photon induced acoustic waves exit the output tip in a pre-determined pattern.
