A display device including: a display panel which includes a plurality of pixels arranged in first to npixel rows, wherein n is a natural number greater than 1; and a panel driver which drives the display panel in response to input image data, and generates sensing data by sensing the plurality of pixels, wherein the panel driver randomly senses one of the first to npixel rows in each of a plurality of sensing frame periods when the input image data correspond to a low grayscale image, wherein the sensing frame periods are repeated and consecutive non-sensing frame periods are provided between the sensing frame periods.

A display device includes a display panel including pixels, a data driver receiving sensing data corresponding to a driving current value of a driving transistor of each of the pixels, and a driving controller calculating a change amount of the sensing data, determining bad pixels based on the change amount of the sensing data, and performing a panel protection operation based on a number of the bad pixels.

A display device includes a display panel including pixels, and a driver to drive the display panel based on input image data. The driver performs a sensing operation for the pixels, to selectively perform the sensing operation by comparing grayscale values of the input image data and a reference grayscale value, to selectively perform a luminance control operation for controlling luminance of the display panel in response to a luminance control signal, and to adjust the reference grayscale value when the luminance control operation is performed.

A display device includes a display panel including pixels, a degradation compensator configured to divide the display panel into one or more unit blocks initially including reference pixels, to calculate a stress data using the unit blocks, and to compensate an image data to generate a compensation data based on an accumulate stress data including an accumulation of the stress data, a data driver configured to generate a data signal based on the compensation data provided from the degradation compensator, and to provide the data signal to the pixels, a scan driver configured to provide a scan signal to the pixels, and a timing controller configured to control the data driver and the scan driver, wherein the degradation compensator is configured to generate the accumulate stress data including the stress data of adjacent pixels that are adjacent to the reference pixels by moving the unit blocks in a moving path.
