A transformer includes a bobbin assembly, a primary winding coil, a first secondary winding coil, a second secondary winding coil, and a magnetic core assembly. The bobbin assembly includes a primary winding part, a first secondary winding part, a second secondary winding part and a channel. A first opening is formed in a bottom surface of the bobbin assembly and communicates with the channel. The primary winding coil is wound around the primary winding part. The first secondary winding coil is wound around the first secondary winding part. The second secondary winding coil is wound around the second secondary winding part. The magnetic core assembly is partially embedded into the channel of the bobbin assembly, and includes a first magnetic part and a second magnetic part. The second magnetic part includes a first extension post, and the first extension post is inserted into the first opening of the bobbin assembly.

Transformer having leakage inductance

A magnetic element includes a bobbin, a first winding assembly, a second winding assembly and a magnetic core assembly. The bobbin includes a winding part, a first extension part and a second extension part. The first extension part and the second extension part are separated from each other by the winding part. The first winding assembly is wound around the winding part of the bobbin, and includes plural first terminals. The second winding assembly is wound around the winding part of the bobbin, and includes plural second terminals. The magnetic core assembly includes a first window and a second window. The first extension part is protruded out of the first window. The second extension part is protruded out of the second window. At least one of the first terminals and at least one of the second terminals are simultaneously fixed on the first extension part and/or the second extension part.

Magnetic element and bobbin thereof

A method of manufacturing a transformer is disclosed. A first bobbin piece, having a first channel and a primary winding section is provided. A second bobbin comprising first and second secondary side plates, plural partition plates, a wall portion, a secondary base having a first pin arranged on a bottom surface of the secondary base, plural secondary winding sections, and a second channel is provided. A second pin is inserted into the second bobbin piece to form a wire-arranging part protruded from the second secondary side plate and an insertion part protruded from the bottom surface of the secondary base. A primary winding coil is wound on the primary winding section, and the first and second terminals of a secondary winding coil are respectively fixed on the first pin and the wire-arranging part. A magnetic core assembly is partially disposed within the first channel and the second channel.

Method of manufacturing a transformer

A composite transformer includes a bobbin assembly, a magnetic core covering element and a magnetic core assembly. The bobbin assembly includes at least a first connecting part and a first channel, wherein at least a primary winding coil and at least a secondary winding coil are wound around the bobbin assembly. The magnetic core covering element includes a second channel and at least a second connecting part. The at least a second connecting part of the magnetic core covering element is coupled with the at least a first connecting part of the bobbin assembly, so that the magnetic core covering element is combined with the bobbin assembly. The magnetic core assembly is partially embedded into the first channel of the bobbin assembly and the second channel of the magnetic core covering element.

Composite transformer

A transformer includes multiple bobbins arranged side by side, a primary winding coil, a secondary winding coil and a magnetic core assembly. Each bobbin includes a main body, multiple partition plates, a primary winding coil, a secondary winding coil and a magnetic core assembly. The main body has at least two sidewalls respectively disposed at two opposite ends thereof. The partition plates are disposed on the main body for respectively cooperating with the sidewalls to define a first winding region and a second winding region. The first winding region and the second winding region are separated by the partitions plates. The spacer is disposed within the channel. The primary winding coil and the secondary winding coil are respectively wound on the first winding portion and the second winding portion of each bobbin. The magnetic core assembly partially embedded into the channels of the bobbins and sustained against the spacer.

Structure of transformer

A transformer includes a first bobbin piece, a second bobbin piece, a first pin, a second pin and a magnetic core assembly. The first bobbin piece has a first channel therein and a covering element, and a primary winding coil is wound on the first bobbin piece. The second bobbin piece includes a first secondary side plate, a second secondary side plate, a plurality of partition plates, a wall portion, and a secondary base, and a secondary winding coil is wound on the second bobbin piece. The second pin includes a wire-arranging part, an insertion part and an intermediate part, wherein the wire-arranging part is protruded from the second secondary side plate, the intermediate part is buried in the wall portion, and the insertion part is protruded from the bottom surface of the secondary base. The magnetic core assembly is partially embedded within said first channel of said first bobbin piece and said second channel of said second bobbin piece. A first terminal of the secondary winding coil is fixed on the first pin and a second terminal of the secondary winding coil is fixed on the wire-arranging part of the second pin. At least parts of the second bobbin piece are received in the covering element of the first bobbin piece, and the covering element has an insulating partition for isolating the magnetic core assembly from the primary winding coil and the secondary winding coil.
