The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for decision making. One example method includes receiving a request for a decision at a decision manager system, the received request associated with a unique identifier, classifying the request based on metadata associated with the received request, identifying a decision approval rule set based on the classified request, the decision approval rule set identifying a set of approvers, identifying at least one prior approval associated with the unique identifier, the at least one prior approval associated with the at least one approver, and applying the at least one prior approval to the decision associated with the received request and updating the set of approvers by removing the at least one approver from the set of approvers.

Automated decision making

A method and an apparatus for performing automated transactions are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, a script-engine associated with a particular server receives a request to execute a script. The script-engine executes a script and prompts a user to enter critical data directly related to the goal sought to be achieved by the script. After receiving the critical data related to the transaction, the script automatically executes and communicates commands to a server. The script automatically communicates the critical data to the server upon request by the server. In addition, the script retrieves and enters non-critical data without user interaction. The server performs operations according to the commands received from the script-engine to automatically carry out the transaction.

Method and system for performing automated transactions using a server-side script-engine

A method and system for handling errors and exceptions in an ERP environment are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, a condition or event causes a script-engine associated with a particular ERP server to generate an error message. The error message is communicated to a centralized controller-node. The centralized controller-node analyzes the message and determines the best course of action for handling an error or exception related to the error message. Based on the controller node's analysis, the controller node communicates a response message, thereby enabling the process that caused the error to continue without terminating abnormally.
