A motor vehicle includes a motor vehicle body having an interior forming a passenger compartment. At least one camera is arranged on the outside of the motor vehicle body for imaging an area to the side and behind of the motor vehicle. In the interior of the motor vehicle, particularly in the region of an instrument panel, a monitor or display is arranged in or on an air outlet. The monitor is connected to the camera for continuously displaying the imaged area to occupants, and in particular a driver, in the passenger compartment.

A panorama projection unit is disclosed which concentrates the projected images in a front area of the motor vehicle and temporarily or locally shades the projection beams between projection units and the display surfaces. The panorama projection unit includes a three-dimensional panoramic screen, a plurality of projectors which project images onto a rear side of the panoramic screen, and a central control unit which controls the projectors in such a way that the projected images are mapped without distortion on the three-dimensional panoramic screen.

A fastback for a passenger car is provided with a roof profile and a floor profile in the tail region. The roof profile initially descends from a highest profile point and the floor profile initially ascends from a lowest profile point in a rear axle region. The tail region forms an aerodynamic diffusor having a floor diffusor and roof diffusor. For this purpose, the roof profile features an S-shaped upward curvature toward an upper tail break-away edge and the floor profile features an S-shaped downward curvature toward a lower tail break-away edge. Due to the roof profile and the floor profile, the tail region of the passenger car has a shape with a fish-like profile.

A loading base arrangement for a motor vehicle has a rear seat with a back rest and a seat cushion. Furthermore, there is provided a base element which can be moved in the direction of travel of the motor vehicle and on which items can be deposited. The base element is connected to the back rest and, when the base element is extended, covers the seat cushion. As a result, it is possible, when necessary, to improve the loading space for transporting bulky items.
