A modular block for storing thermal energy having a bottom wall and lateral walls defining a chamber. The lateral walls are made from a mouldable material. First thermal management elements are disposed in the chamber, which has at least one communication passage to the outside environment to allow a refrigerating fluid or a heat-transfer fluid a in heat exchange relationship with the first thermal management elements to pass into and out of the chamber. The modular block has second thermal management elements arranged laterally around the lateral walls or included in the mouldable material of the lateral walls for the thermal management of the chamber. The first thermal management elements are separated from the second thermal management elements by a part of the mouldable material of the lateral walls.

Block and unit for storing thermal energy

The invention relates to a heat exchanger comprising a first free space () for a first fluid (), a thermally conductive wall () which, at least locally, delimits said first free space (), in such a way that an exchange of heat can occur between the first fluid and the thermally conductive wall () which is hollow and encloses a material () for storing thermal energy by accumulation of latent heat, by heat exchange with at least the first fluid. The first free space () is divided into at least two separated channels () in which two streams of the first fluid () can circulate at the same time but separately, the thermally conductive wall () which encloses the thermal energy storage material () being interposed between the two channels ().

Thermal exchanger-accumulator

An assembly having a structure provided with an interior volume in which is present for example at least one fluid capable of circulating in said volume and under the action of circulation means. Thermally insulating elements of VIP construction are arranged around a layer containing a PCM and extending around the peripheral wall that surrounds the volume. Protrusions fixed to the peripheral wall delimit spaces in which the thermally insulating elements are positioned. A sleeve extends around the protrusions and the insulating elements.

The invention relates to a method for heat exchange. At a first point in time, in a thermal energy storing device, at least part of the previously accumulated thermal energy is discharged to a first fluid by heat exchange, and subsequently, at a second later point in time, when the first fluid has been heated to a temperature higher than the temperature of a second fluid, the second fluid receives heat energy by heat exchange with said first fluid which then circulates on the other side of a first wall that prevents the first and second fluids from mixing.

The positioning structure is connected to, and extends around, the central body The position structure is also connected to reserving passages that enable contact between the central body and the surrounding fluid and the circulation of the surrounding fluid.
