The present disclosure relates to capturing a document. In certain embodiments, Optical Character Recognition (OCR) is performed on each of a plurality of images to identify one or more character sequences in each image. Each image may comprise a portion of the document. In some embodiments, points of connection are identified among the plurality of images based on the one or more character sequences in each image. In certain embodiments, a unified image of the document is produced by stitching the plurality of images together based on the points of connection.

Issuers of electronic payment instruments can bid or submit competing offers to consumers in real-time during a transaction to influence consumers selecting their electronic payment instruments to complete a pending electronic transaction. Requests for bids, issuer responses with offers or proposed terms (e.g., annual percentage rate, miles, points, cash back, etc.), analysis of competing issuer offers, and selection of an electronic payment instrument based on the offer analysis occur in real-time such as while the consumer is at an electronic payment device of a merchant. An electronic payment instrument may be selected for the consumer, e.g., the instrument associated with an offer that confers the greatest benefit to the consumer compared to other offers, or the offer data can be presented to the consumer such as in the form of a ranking or list so that the consumer can select the electronic payment to be utilized to complete the transaction.

The disclosed embodiments relate to a system that enables a user to continue accomplishing a task on a handheld device while moving. During operation, the system tracks the speed of the handheld device while the user is interacting with an application on the device. If the speed is greater than a pre-determined speed, the system audibly prompts the user to enable hands-free mode. If the user says yes, the system enables hands-free mode and the user may continue to use the application in hands-free mode. Otherwise, the system continues to run the application without enabling hands-free mode.

A method for managing projects for a small business using a graphical user interface (GUI). The method includes receiving, at a current time, a request to schedule a new project at a location and a future time selected by a user, identifying a plurality of available workers of the small business available to work on the new project at the future time, displaying, within the GUI, a new project avatar of the new project at the location on a map and a plurality of available worker avatars corresponding to the plurality of available workers, and assigning a first available worker of the plurality of available workers to the new project.
