A projection system is provided, which includes a first light source, a second light source, a wavelength converter, a first light splitting element, and a second light splitting element. The first light source is configured to emit a first light. The second light source is configured to emit a second light. The wavelength converter is configured to convert portions or all of the second light into a third light. The third light includes a red light and a green light. A wavelength range of the first light is within a wavelength range of the red light. The first light splitting element is configured to permit the first light to pass through or to be reflected. The second light splitting element is configured for removing a portion of the first light or not removing the first light.

Projection system and optimizing method thereof

A phosphor device of an illumination system emitting a first waveband light and having an optical path includes a first section and a first phosphor agent. The first phosphor agent is coated on the first section. The first waveband light is received and converted into a second waveband light by the first phosphor agent. The second waveband light is directed to the optical path. The range of the spectrum of the second waveband light includes at least a first color light and a second color light, so that the first color light or the second color light is separated from the second waveband light along the optical path. Therefore, the diversity of the design of the phosphor device is enhanced, the manufacturing cost and the size of product are reduced, and the color purity is enhanced.

An optical system comprises a light source and a light integration module, which comprises a light integration rod, an optical assembly and an anti-reflection coating. The light integration rod has an entrance, which is covered by the optical assembly. The optical assembly has a transparent surface, and a surface area of the transparent surface is greater than a cross-sectional area of the entrance of the light integration rod. The anti-reflection coating is formed on the transparent surface. After an incident light is transmitted through the anti-reflection coating, it is transmitted through the optical assembly along a light path, and then outputted to the entrance of the light integration rod.

A projection apparatus includes an image control device, a display device, and an image shift device. The image control device is configured to generate a plurality of left-eye sub-image data according to a left-eye image data and generate a plurality of right-eye sub-image data according to a right-eye image data. The display device is configured to sequentially display a plurality of left-eye images and right-eye images according to the left-eye sub-image data and the right-eye sub-image data. The image shift device is configured to shift the left-eye sub-images from each other and shift the right-eye sub-images from each other.

A projection display device is disclosed herein. The projection display device includes an image processing module and a light source driver. The image processing module is configured for receiving an image data and generating a display signal which includes an image period and a black state period. The light source driver is configured for generating a light driving signal to drive a projection light source, wherein the light driving signal includes a first segment and a second segment in the black state period, and the average amplitude of the light driving signal in the second segment is lower than the average amplitude of the light driving signal in the image period. The optical projecting apparatus includes a first solid state light generator generating a first light beam, a second solid state light generator generating a second light beam, a first wavelength-converting module, and a spatial light modulating module. The first wavelength-converting module converts the first light beam into a wavelength-converted light. The spatial light modulating module splits the wavelength-converted light into a third light beam and a fourth light beam, and transmits the second light beam, the third light beam, and the fourth light beam to the screen via the projecting lens.

Optical projecting apparatus having two digital micro-mirror devices

A lighting system for a digital cinema projection apparatus is provided. The lighting system includes an ultra high pressure mercury lamp, a relay lens group, a digital micro display module, an optical filter module, and a projection lens. The ultra high pressure mercury lamp is used for emitting a light beam. The relay lens group is used for receiving the light beam and adjusting an optical path of the light beam. The optical filter module is arranged along the optical path of the lighting system for optically modulating an optical spectrum and/or a white balance of the light beam from the ultra high pressure mercury lamp. The projection lens is used for projecting the modulated light beam as an image beam.

Lighting system and digital cinema projection apparatus employing same

A phosphor device of an illumination system is provided. The illumination system emits a first waveband light and has an optical path. The phosphor device includes a first section and a first phosphor agent. The first phosphor agent is coated on the first section. After the first waveband light is received by the first phosphor agent, the first waveband light is converted into a third waveband light, and the third waveband light is directed to the optical path, so that the third waveband light is separated into at least two color lights along the optical path.

An optical system for a projector is provided, which includes a solid-state light source module, an optical module, a phosphor element and a light relay module which are disposed sequentially. The light source module can generate a first beam, while the optical module can relay and uniformize the first beam so that the first beam is uniformly incident on the phosphor element. The optical module also makes the light spot of the first beam incident on the phosphor element into a predetermined shape and area, so that the phosphor element will emit a second beam by an emitting area. The light relay module can receive a part of the second beam, and the part of the second beam has a solid angle. An Etendue defined by the solid angle and the emitting area may be identical to the Etendue of a light modulator of the projector.

An adjusting method includes steps of providing a display apparatus, transforming a first value in a first color space of a color displayed by the display apparatus into a second value in a second color space, adjusting the second value to a third value in the second color space, and transforming the third value into a fourth value in the first color space. By adjusting the second value to the third value in the second color space intuitively, the present invention achieves the advantages of providing an intuitive operation, simplifying the adjustment, saving time and enhancing the user experiences.
