A cam ring fluid machine, a rotary cam ring fluid machine has a casing, a flange in the casing, a stator in the casing, a rotor cam ring in the stator, a fixed axis in the rotor cam ring, and a vane in the vane groove of the fixed axis. A fluid chamber is formed with the inner circumferential surface of the rotor cam ring, the outer circumferential surface of the fixed axis, the vane, and the flange. When the rotor cam ring rotates, the volume of the fluid chamber increases or decreases.

In a scroll fluid machine where an orbiting scroll fixed to a pivot shaft eccentrically revolves, a fixed portion is provided on a bottom of a casing, and a swing column is provided between the fixed portion and the orbiting scroll or between the fixed portion and the pivot shaft. The fixed portion withstands the thrust load of the orbiting scroll, which has been transferred by the swing column.

An anti-self rotation mechanism for preventing self-rotation of the eccentric shaft includes a long orbiting key formed at an end of the eccentric shaft, a ring formed of a long hole through which the orbiting key slides, ring keys that extend toward both outer sides in the direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the hole, and two key grooves formed in the casing, through which the ring keys slide.

An optical fiber coupler reinforcing member comprises an approximately rectangular member formed by a hard material, and has a flat surface along the longitudinal direction thereof. In addition, the shape thereof in cross-section is a hexagonal shape which inscribes a cylindrical member. Furthermore, a recess having a U-shaped cross-section is formed in the longitudinal direction of the above-mentioned approximately rectangular member and houses coupling section. The coupling section housed within the recess is fixed at both ends of the recess by an adhesive or the like. In addition, both ends of the inner wall surface of the recess have been given bevel sections. As a result, the optical fiber coupler reinforcing member having high reliability at low cost, with which the strength with respect to external force is improved and with which processability and the assembly operations of the optical fiber coupler are easy, are provided.

It is an object of the present invention to enable quick, easy, and inexpensive connections even in a narrow area using an inexpensive device and an inexpensive optical fiber connecting element, thereby achieving high operability and high durability reliability. An optical fiber connecting element includes an optical alignment sleeve having tapered insertion ports formed at opposite ends thereof and having an ejection port opened in an area in which the two optical fibers inserted through the insertion ports are butted against each other, a cyanoacrylate-type glue injected into the insertion ports and the injection port to fix the two optical fibers, and a heat-shrinkable tube wrapped around the optical alignment sleeve and two optical fiber coatings and having a hot-melt adhesive provided therein.
