A luggage wheel assembly comprises an L-shaped bezel including a hollow lower portion of arcuate section, and a well defined by the lower portion for receiving a wheel; and a shock absorber extended from the wheel into the lower portion. Lower, oblique first slot and upper, oblique second slot are provided on either side of an inner wall of the lower portion respectively. A wheel mount comprises a lower hole at either side, an upper hole at either side, an axle inserted through the first slot and the lower hole at one side, a hub of the wheel, and the lower hole and the first slot at the other side, two pins inserted through the upper holes and the second slots, and two C-shaped clips put on projected shanks of the pins on the second slots for fastening. The invention can eliminate wobbles occurred when towing on uneven surfaces.

A retractable handle assembly for luggage in a pulling operation, press a push button to cause a spring in a plunger of buffer device to gradually and damply extending upward immediately. A handle grip of a trunk having an upper cover unit and a seat unit receiving in the upper cover unit. The seam of the seat unit and the upper cover unit are placed on a top of the handle grip and the stomach portion of the seat unit has no seam. Therefore, when it is held, the hand of the user will not be in contact with the seam of the seat unit and the upper cover unit so as to have a preferred handling feeling.

A bezel of luggage comprises a vertical portion, a horizontal portion, a first recess surrounded by the horizontal portion and the rear lower side, and a second recess surrounded by the front upper side and the vertical portion. This can protect fingers and thumb in the handle retracting process. This is because there is a sufficient space left between handle grip and second recess and between handle grip and first recess respectively when handle grip is fully retracted onto bezel.
