Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, an extended reality (XR) device may transmit, to a first wireless communication device and a second wireless communication device, a first portion of rendering data and a second portion of rendering data, respectively, for offloaded rendering, wherein a division of the rendering data into the first portion of the rendering data and the second portion of the rendering data is based at least in part on view information. The XR device may receive, from the first wireless communication device and the second wireless communication device, a first portion of rendered data and a second portion of the rendered data, respectively, based at least in part on the transmitting. Numerous other aspects are described.

View-dependent multiple streaming for extended reality (XR) rendering offloading

A user equipment (UE) may communicate using different radio access technologies on adjacent frequency bands. The UE may determine that the UE is not receiving wireless signals for a second radio access technology that utilizes a second frequency band adjacent to a first frequency band for a first radio access technology. The UE may place a transmitter of the UE in a filter bypass mode in which a transmit signal bypasses a transmit filter for the first radio access technology in response to determining that the wireless signals for the second radio access technology are not received. The UE may scan, using a receiver for the second radio access technology, while in the filter bypass mode, the second frequency band for a signal for the second radio access technology between scheduled transmissions for the first radio access technology.

Methods and systems for sending multicast messages are disclosed. A multicast message is received to be transmitted to a plurality of access terminals at a radio access network (RAN), the received multicast message having a first format. The first format may correspond to a conventional multicast message format. The RAN determines whether the received multicast message requires special handling. If the RAN determines the received multicast message requires special handling, the radio access network converts the received multicast message from the first format into a second format. The RAN transmits the converted multicast message with the second format (e.g., a data over signaling (DOS) message) on a control channel to at least one of the plurality of access terminals. The access terminals receiving the converted multicast message interpret the message as a multicast message.

Multicast messaging within a wireless communication system

A method of managing uplink interference at a base station includes: detecting uplink interference caused by one or more inter-cell user equipments to an uplink channel of a base station, the one or more inter-cell user equipments associated with a neighboring base station; receiving, at the base station, assistance information from the neighboring base station, the assistance information comprising a parameter list of ongoing transmissions by the one or more user equipments associated with the neighboring base station; and performing uplink interference cancellation, at the base station, on at least a portion of a received signal based on the assistance information to generate a resulting signal.

Systems and methods for small cell uplink interference cancellation using cooperation between small cells

A user equipment (UE) may receive a wireless wide area network (WWAN) signal on a first antenna. The UE may process the WWAN signal with a portion of a WWAN receive chain of a WWAN module of the UE. The WWAN signal may be routed from the WWAN receive chain to a wireless local area network (WLAN) receive chain of a WLAN module of the UE. The UE may then process the WWAN signal with a portion of the WLAN receive chain.

Interoperation techniques for WWAN and WLAN receive chains

A communication system operates in the first power state during a communication session. The system transitions from the first to a second power state, when a first predefined time period expires after transfer of a packet and before a transfer of a next packet, for any of and no more than a first N packets in the communication session. Alternatively or in addition, the system transitions from the first to the second power state when: (a) the first predefined time period expires after transfer of a packet and before transfer of a next packet in the communication session and (b) the size of each packet transferred thus far in the communication session is not greater than S.

Fast dormancy system and process

A method of wireless communication includes communicating using a first radio based on a first radio technology; configuring a second radio based on a second radio technology different from the first radio technology to assist the first radio with a first-radio operation; and performing at least a portion of the first-radio operation at the second radio. The first-radio operation includes at least one of multiple subscriber identity module (SIM) page monitoring and page/data processing, higher order diversity data acquisition and processing, interference measurement and management, E-UTRAN cell global identifier (ECGI) determination and reporting, a reference signal time difference (RSTD) measurement, beacon detection for small cell identification, a minimization of drive test (MDT) measurement, and a speed estimation measurement. The first radio technology is a wireless wide area network (WWAN) technology and the second radio technology is a wireless local area network (WLAN) technology.

Methods and apparatus for cooperating between wireless wide area network radios and wireless local area network radios

A user equipment (UE) may communicate over a first wireless wide area network (WWAN). The first WWAN may be supported by a first subscriber identity module (SIM) of the UE. The UE may also communicate simultaneously over a second WWAN supported by a second SIM. The UE may process the second WWAN communication with a portion of a WWAN module and a portion of a wireless local area network (WLAN) module.

WWAN and Wlan cooperative support of multi-SIM devices

A user equipment (UE) provides a capability-type indication for each of one or more UE capabilities. Each indication corresponds to a capability type, the type being one of a persistent capability or a second-type capability. Information corresponding to the capability-type indication may be provided to an eNB associated with the UE by RRC signaling. The UE provides a capability-change indication for each of one or more UE capabilities that has changed capability type. Information corresponding to the capability-change indication may be provided to an eNB by lower layer signaling, RRC signaling, or a combination thereof. Capability change information may be sent to the eNB autonomously by the UE, or in response to an inquiry from the eNB. The inquiry from the eNB may be triggered by the UE.

Dynamic update of UE capability for inter-frequency and inter-RAT measurements

Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for providing services, such as voice services, within flexible bandwidth systems. In general, the scaling of one or more aspects of a flexible bandwidth system may be compensated for through altering one or more aspects within a code domain. The tools and techniques may include scaling spreading factors (with rate matching tuning in some embodiments), multi-code transmission, code rate increases, AMR codec rate adjustments, and/or higher order modulation. Subframe decoding approaches for the reception scheme may also be utilized. These tools and techniques can be flexibly implemented on the mobile device and/or base station side. Some embodiments may also minimize the latency introduced by the transmission and/or reception process. Flexible bandwidths systems may utilize portions of spectrum that may be too big or too small to fit a normal bandwidth waveform.

Voice service solutions for flexible bandwidth systems

Methods, systems, and devices are described for making scaling adjustments with respect to a fractional subsystem in a wireless communications system. To handle the effects of scaling associated with fractional bandwidth systems, different adjustments may be made to maintain certain quality of service (QoS) requirements, for example. Scaling adjustments may include identifying a scaling factor for the fractional subsystem and a parameter and/or a timer associated with the fractional subsystem. An adjustment associated with the parameter and/or timer may be determined based on the scaling factor. The adjustment may be applied with respect to the parameter and/or timer for at least a portion of the fractional subsystem or another portion of the wireless communications system.

A method for performing interference cancellation in a wireless communications device having a transmitter, a receiver, a coefficient controller, an analog interference cancellation (AIC) circuit and a receive local oscillator (LO) includes utilizing a receive local oscillator (LO) to generate a transmit pilot; injecting the transmit pilot into a transmit chain for transmission; utilizing a receiver to receive a signal, wherein the signal includes the transmit pilot and an interference signal; and determining a set of coefficients for the interference cancellation based on an output signal from the receiver.
