Display device, method of determining driving frequency, and method of driving the display device

A display device includes a display module including a display panel and an input sensing layer on the display panel, and a flexible circuit film connected to the display module. The flexible circuit film includes a base film, a sensor connection wire, a ground wire, an insulating layer, a first conductive layer, and a cover tape. The sensor connection wire is on the base film and is electrically connected to the input sensing layer. The ground wire is on the base film, and the insulating layer covers the sensor connection wire. The first conductive layer is on the insulating layer and is electrically connected to the ground wire, and the cover tape is on the first conductive layer and is electrically connected to the ground wire.

A display device includes a display module and a flexible circuit film connected to the display module. The display module includes a display panel and an input sensing layer. The flexible circuit film includes a base film, a ground line disposed on the base film, a plurality of connection lines disposed on the base film and electrically connected to at least one of the input sensing layer and the display panel, a conductive layer disposed on the connection lines and overlapping at least a portion of the connection lines, an insulating layer disposed on the conductive layer, and a cover tape disposed on the insulating layer and overlapping the ground line.

Display device and method of detecting defect of the same

A display device includes a display panel, an input sensor, and a circuit board. The input sensor includes first detection electrodes arranged in a first direction, second detection electrodes arranged in a second direction, first detection wires respectively electrically connected to the first detection electrodes, and second detection wires respectively electrically connected to the second detection electrodes. Resistance values of the first detection wires decrease as a corresponding first detection electrode among the first detection electrodes is disposed closer to a center of the display panel. Resistance values of the second detection wires increase as a corresponding second detection electrode among the second detection electrodes moves away from the circuit board, and a difference between the resistance values of the second detection wires adjacent to each other increases as the corresponding second detection electrode moves away from the circuit board.

An inspection device inspects a display for defects. The display includes a power supply, a circuit board having a stabilizer to stabilize the power supply, a display panel which is electrically connected to the circuit board and has a first electrode, and an input sensor which is disposed on the display panel and has a second electrode. The inspection logic measures a value of capacitance between the first electrode and the second electrode of the display, and includes a frequency setter that sets a driving frequency of the second electrode to a frequency in a predetermined range.

A method of testing an electronic device includes providing an electronic device. The electronic device includes a display layer that includes a common electrode. The electronic device also includes a sensor layer disposed on the display layer and that includes a first sensing electrode and a second sensing electrode. The first sensing electrode and the second sensing electrode cross each other and are electrically disconnected. The method further includes providing a test signal that includes a test frequency to the first sensing electrode, measuring a capacitance of a capacitor disposed between the first and second sensing electrodes based on the test signal, and testing the common electrode based on the capacitance.
