A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels respectively connected to corresponding data lines and respectively connected to corresponding scan lines, a data driving circuit for driving the corresponding data lines, a scan driving circuit for driving the corresponding scan lines, and a driving controller for, during a multi-frequency mode, dividing the display panel into a first display area and a second display area and controlling the data driving circuit and the scan driving circuit so that the first display area is driven at a first driving frequency, and the second display area is driven at a second driving frequency lower than the first driving frequency. During the multi-frequency mode, the driving controller divides the second display area into a plurality of blocks and alternately drives the plurality of blocks every frame.

Display device

A display apparatus includes a display panel, a gate driver, a data driver, a driving controller and a power voltage generator. The display panel displays an image based on input image data. The gate driver outputs a gate signal to a gate line. The data driver outputs a data voltage to a data line. The driving controller drives display areas of the display panel in different driving frequencies. The power voltage generator outputs a data power voltage to the data driver. The driving controller outputs an output data enable signal including a writing period having an active signal and a holding period having an inactive signal for the respective display areas. The power voltage generator generates the data power voltage having a high power voltage level during the writing period and a low power voltage level in at least a portion of the holding period.

Display apparatus and method of driving display panel using the same

An electronic device includes a display panel including a display region and a non-display region adjacent thereto, an input sensor overlapping a first region of the display region, and an antenna overlapping a second region of the display region. The input sensor includes a first sensing layer including a bridge pattern and a second sensing layer including sensor electrodes and disposed on a different layer from the first sensing layer. The bridge pattern connects two adjacent sensor electrodes. The antenna includes a first antenna layer including a first antenna with a first frequency band, the first antenna layer and the first sensing layer disposed on the same layer, and a second antenna layer including a second antenna with a second frequency band different from the first frequency band. The second antenna layer and the second sensing layer are disposed on the same layer.

A display device includes: a first partial emission driver configured to provide first emission control signals to a first partial panel area of the display panel, and a second partial emission driver configured to provide second emission control signals to a second partial panel area of the display panel; and a power management block configured to: provide a first voltage and a second voltage to the emission driver, in response to the first partial emission driver generating the first emission control signals; and provide a third voltage and a fourth voltage to the emission driver in response to the second partial emission driver generating the second emission control signals; and an emission control block configured to receive the first voltage and the second voltage from the power management block and to provide a first clock signal and a second clock signal to the emission driver.

Display device having power management block

A display device includes a sensing circuit and a controller which selects a pixel row in a frame period. A vertical blank period of the frame period includes a sensing time in which the sensing circuit performs a sensing operation for the selected pixel row. The sensing circuit measures a first source voltage of a driving transistor of a pixel in the selected pixel row at a first time point of the sensing time, and measures a second source voltage of the driving transistor at a second time point of the sensing time. The controller calculates a threshold voltage parameter and a mobility parameter based on the first and second source voltages, predicts a saturated source voltage of the driving transistor based on the threshold voltage parameter and the mobility parameter, and calculates a threshold voltage of the driving transistor based on the saturated source voltage.

Display device, and method of sensing a driving characteristic

A light emission driving circuit includes a driving circuit configured to output a light emission driving signal to a first output terminal and output a switching signal to a first node in response to clock signals and a first carry signal, and a first masking circuit configured to output a second carry signal to a second output terminal in response to a masking clock signal, the light emission driving signal, and the first switching signal. The masking clock signal is a signal which is maintained at a first level during a normal mode and periodically changes during a low power mode.

An display device, includes: an input sensor including: a sensor controller configured to operate in a first mode, in which the first electrode and the second electrode are operated as different groups, or in a second mode, in which the first electrode and the second electrode are operated as a same group, wherein the sensor controller is configured to have an operation time of the first mode, which is longer than an operation time of the second mode, in response to the input sensor operating in the first driving mode during successive sensing periods of a first group, and the sensor controller is configured to have the operation time of the second mode, which is longer than the operation time of the first mode, in response to the input sensor operating in the second driving mode during successive sensing periods of a second group.

Display apparatus reducing power consumption and method of driving display panel using the same

A display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels respectively connected to a plurality of data lines and a plurality of scan lines, a data driving circuit for driving the plurality of data lines, a scan driving circuit for driving the plurality of scan lines, and a driving controller for receiving a control signal and an image signal and controlling the data driving circuit and the scan driving circuit such that an image is displayed on the display panel. The driving controller identifies a first region and a second region of an image to be displayed on the display panel based on the image signal and provides the data driving circuit with an image data signal obtained by compensating for the image signal to be provided to pixels adjacent to the second region among pixels corresponding to the first region as a compensation value.

Provided is a scan driver of a display device, and the scan driver includes a driving circuit and a masking circuit. The driving circuit includes a control circuit, a first output circuit, and a second output circuit. The control circuit outputs a first control signal and a second control signal. The first output circuit is connected to a first output terminal which outputs a first scan signal and a first voltage terminal and operates in response to a first control signal. The second output circuit is connected to a first output terminal and a second voltage terminal and operates in response to a second control signal. The masking circuit outputs a second scan signal to a second output terminal in response to the first control signal and the second control signal and is connected to an input terminal to which a masking signal is supplied.

Scan driver and display device having the same

A display apparatus includes an integral integrated circuit and a display panel. The integral integrated circuit includes a gate channel which outputs a gate primitive signal and a data channel which outputs a data voltage. The display panel includes a level shifter which amplifies the gate primitive signal to generate a gate signal. The display panel is configured to display an image based on the gate signal and the data voltage. The display panel includes a first gate line extending in a first direction and a second gate line extending in a second direction. The second direction is different from the first direction. The second gate line is connected to the first gate line. The level shifter is connected to the second gate line.

Display apparatus

The present disclosure presents an electronic device. The electronic device may include a display panel, an input sensor, a first antenna, and a second antenna. The display panel includes a display region and a non-display region adjacent to the display region. The input sensor is disposed on the display panel and overlapped with a first region of the display region. The first antenna and a second antenna are disposed on the display panel and are overlapped with a second region of the display region, and each of which includes a stretchable pattern. A first distance between opposite ends of the stretchable pattern of the first antenna may be different from a second distance between opposite ends of the stretchable pattern of the second antenna. The inventive concept may provide an electronic device including a stretchable antenna.

Electronic device and method of fabricating the same

A display device including: a display panel including a pixel connected to a first scan line, second scan line, and data line, the pixel including: a first switch connected to the first scan line; a second switch connected to the second scan line; and a light emitting element; a low-frequency driving controller to output a first power control signal having a first level in a first mode and a second power control signal having a second level in a second mode; a scan driver including first and second scan drivers to drive the first and second scan lines, wherein one of the first and second scan drivers operates in the second mode; and a data driver to operate in the second mode in response to the power control signal having the second level, wherein the data driver operates at a frequency lower than a reference frequency in the second mode.

The present disclosure provides a display device. The display device includes a display panel, an active area, a peripheral area, an input sensor, and a pattern layer. The active area and the peripheral area are adjacent to the active area. The input sensor is disposed on the display panel and includes a plurality of detection electrodes and a first pattern. The pattern layer is disposed on the input sensor and includes a second pattern overlapping the first pattern when viewed on a plane. Any one of the first and second patterns transmits and receives a signal. The other pattern of the first and second patterns includes a shielding component that shields or reflects a signal provided from any one pattern. A transmission component transmits the signal.
