A power supply apparatus for a line connection type fuel cell system includes a power converter system (PCS) control power supply which generates PCS control power from line power, a balance of plant (BOP) power supply which generates BOP power from line power, a regulator which generates PCS control power from the BOP power, a first switching unit switched by a control signal, which directs the line power to one of the PCS control power supply and the BOP power supply, a second switching unit switched by a control signal, which selects an output of one of the PCS control power supply and the regulator to provide PCS control power, and a controller which controls switching of the first and second switching units in response to a starting command.

Power supply apparatus and method for line connection type fuel cell system

A power controlling apparatus for a fuel cell system includes a fuel cell controller which analyzes power state information of a fuel cell system, transmits a power state information signal based on the analysis to a power conversion controller, receives a load request power information signal from the power conversion controller, analyzes the received load request power information signal, and changes an outputtable power amount based on the analysis. The power controlling apparatus also includes a power conversion controller which transmits a load request power information signal based on power information requested by a load to the fuel cell controller, analyzes the power state information signal transmitted by the fuel cell controller, and controls a power convert amount based on the analysis.

Power controlling apparatus for fuel cell system and method thereof

A multi-unit fuel cell system that includes a common-use reforming unit configured to supply hydrogen to multiple fuel cell units that are installed in multiple units, such as apartments within an apartment building. In one example embodiment, a fuel cell system including a common-use reforming unit and multiple fuel cell units is disclosed. The common-use reforming unit is configured to supply hydrogen to the plurality of fuel cell units. Each fuel cell unit includes a stack unit, an air supplying unit, an integral heat exchange unit, a hot-water supplying unit, an auxiliary heat supplying unit, and an electric output unit.
