A polymer electrolyte membrane includes a fluorinated polymer membrane and a coating layer including a hydrocarbon-based ionomer on at least one surface of the fluorinated polymer membrane. The polymer electrolyte membrane maintains high hydrogen ion conductivity and has improved performance under high temperature and low humidity conditions. A membrane electrode assembly and a fuel cell including the polymer electrolyte membrane are also disclosed.

A plasma display panel (PDP) comprises: a front substrate and a rear substrate which face each other; and a barrier wall which is interposed between the front substrate and the rear substrate, which includes base portions arranged on either side of a main discharge space, and protruding portions protruding on the base portions, respectively, and which defines stepped spaces on either side of the main discharge space. The stepped spaces are formed according to stepped surfaces formed by the base portions and the protruding portions. The PDP further comprises a pair of a scan electrode and a sustain electrode which generate a mutual discharge through the main discharge space. A channel space is defined by outer walls of the protruding portions on either side of the main discharge space, and an external light absorbing layer covers the channel space.

An electron gun for a cathode ray tube includes a single cathode that emits thermions; first and second electrodes; a plurality of focus electrodes provided consecutively after the second electrode; an anode electrode mounted after a final focus electrode; and a support that supports the electrodes in an aligned configuration. The final focus electrode and the anode electrode are mounted opposing one another with a predetermined gap therebetween. If a lengthwise direction of phosphor layers forming a phosphor screen of the cathode ray tube is a Y axis direction, and a direction perpendicular to the Y axis direction is an X axis direction, an electron beam aperture formed in a portion of the final focus electrode opposing the anode electrode, and an electron beam aperture formed in the anode electrode have diameters in the X axis direction that are larger than corresponding diameters of electron beam apertures formed in the remaining electrodes.
