A secondary battery includes a bare cell including a case and a cap plate sealing the case, a temperature sensing element on the cap plate, and a protective circuit module coupled to the cap plate and electrically connected to the bare cell and the temperature sensing element, wherein an electrical connection member is on at least one side of the temperature sensing element and electrically connects the temperature sensing element to at least one of the bare cell and/or the protective circuit module.

Secondary battery

A secondary battery may include a main body including a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a cover connected to a side of the main body and including a skirt part eccentric to one of the first and second surfaces, wherein an external terminal is formed in the first surface.

A battery pack is provided. The battery pack comprises a bare cell, a protective circuit board electrically connected to the bare cell to control the charge/discharge of the bare cell, a secondary protective device connected between the bare cell and the protective circuit board and installed on one surface of the bare cell, and an insulating member disposed on the one surface of the bare cell and having a width greater than that of the secondary protective device. Due to this construction, the insulation performance of the secondary protective device is improved and the assembly of the insulating member is facilitated.

Battery pack exhibiting improved insulation performance and assembly productivity

A battery pack including: a bare cell including an electrode assembly, and a can to house the electrode assembly; and a protective circuit board including a base plate, disposed on the can. The can includes a cap plate disposed in an opening thereof, including a first terminal that extends toward the protective circuit board. The protective circuit board includes a base plate, a first connection terminal connected to the first terminal, a second connection terminal connected to the cap plate, and a first opening corresponding to the first and second connection terminals.

Battery pack

In the secondary battery, a lead plate is provided so as not to overlap the position of the sealing unit of the electrolyte injection hole to enhance the fixation of the lead plate to the upper surface of the cap plate of a cap assembly. The position of a connection terminal of a protective circuit unit corresponds to the position of the lead plate and together with the connection terminal shape the connection terminal is prevented from being exposed to the outside during hot-melt molding.
