An example electronic device includes a camera module, a display, and a processor. The electronic device includes a display, a camera, at least one sensor, a memory, and a processor operatively connected to the display, the camera, the at least one sensor, and the memory. According to an embodiment, the memory may store instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to capture an image using the camera, detect a motion of the electronic device using the at least one sensor, detect the motion of the electronic device by analyzing the image when a magnification of the camera exceeds a specified value, correct the image based on the motion detected using the at least one sensor when a difference between a first motion value corresponding to the motion detected using the at least one sensor and a second motion value corresponding to the motion detected by analyzing the image exceeds a specified threshold value, and correct the image based on the motion detected by analyzing the image when the difference between the first motion value and the second motion value is equal to or less than the specified threshold value.
