The present invention relates to a foam containing water, between 5 and 30 wt % on total weight of the foam of a chelating agent selected from the group of glutamic aid N,N-diacetic acid or a salt thereof (GLDA), aspartic acid N,N-diacetic acid or a salt thereof (ASDA), methylglycine N,N-diacetic acid or a salt thereof (MGDA), N-hydroxyethyl ethylenediamine-N,N',N&#x2032;-triacetic acid or a salt thereof (HEDTA), a foaming agent, and at least 25 vol % on total volume of the foam of a gas, and having a pH of between 2 and 5, to a viscosified composition containing water, between 5 and 30 wt % on total volume of the composition of a chelating agent selected from the group of glutamic aid N,N-diacetic acid or a salt thereof (GLDA), aspartic acid N,N-diacetic acid or a salt thereof (ASDA), methylglycine N,N-diacetic acid or a salt thereof (MGDA), N-hydroxyethyl ethylenediamine-N,N&#x2032;,N&#x2032;-triacetic acid or a salt thereof (HEDTA), and at least 0.01 wt % on total weight of the composition of a viscosifying agent, and having a pH of between 2 and 5, and to a process for treating a subterranean formation comprising introducing the above foam or viscosified composition into the formation.

Foam or viscosified composition containing a chelating agent

Aqueous suspension comprising 35-45 wt % of solid diacyl peroxide particles having a d50 in the range 1-10 microns, 0.05-1 wt % of a dispersant, and not more than 1 wt % of an organic solvent. This concentrated peroxide suspension comprises only a minor amount of dispersant, has a low volatile organic content and is nonetheless stable for months and low in viscosity.

Aqueous solid diacyl peroxide suspension

The present invention relates to an aqueous composition comprising three components. The first component is a primary detergent, non-ionic surfactant with a critical packing parameters (CPP) of &#x2267;0.95. The second component is a inorganic particle whose surface has been modified to improve stability. The third necessary component is a secondary surfactant with a CPP of &#x2266;0.85. The secondary surfactant can function to improve the overall cleaning performance, the streaking performance and provide overall formulation stability.

Low streak degreasing composition

The invention relates to highly concentrated aqueous emulsions of peroxides comprising an anti-freeze agent, a polyvinyl acetate with a degree of hydrolysis between 45 and 80%, and optionally a non-ionic surfactant with an HLB value greater than 10 selected from alkylene oxide block-copolymers, ethoxylated fatty alcohols, and ethoxyfated fatty acids. The emulsions have a low COD value and are safe, storage stable, and generally applicable.

Highly concentrated, stable, and safe diacyl peroxide and peroxydicarbonate emulsions with a low chemical oxygen demand value

The invention relates to an aqueous organic peroxide emulsion comprising an anti-freeze agent, a protective colloid, and a plasticiser wherein the plasticizer is an ester having a ratio of the number of carbon atoms present in the pasticiser molecule (excluding aromatic carbon atoms) to the number of ester groups in the molecule of higher than 8. These emulsions show a reduced droplet growth as compared to emulsions comprising a conventional plasticizer, i.e. the emulsions of the invention are more stable upon storage than the emulsions of the prior art. The invention emulsions are particularly useful in polymerization processes such as the polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer.

Storage stable aqueous organic peroxide emulsions

The invention relates to aqueous emulsions of peroxyesters comprising an anti-freeze agent, a polyvinyl acetate with a degree of hydrolysis between 45 and 68%, and a non-ionic surfactant with an HLB value greater than 16 selected from alkylene oxide block-copolymers, ethoxylated fatty alcohols, and ethoxylated fatty acids. The emulsions are safe, storage stable, and generally applicable.

Emulsions of peroxyesters

The invention pertains to a process for enhancing the melt strength of a polypropylene (co)polymer with the aid of initiator dispersions. The use of initiator dispersions with a particulate initiator instead of the corresponding non-dispersed initiators or their dilutions or solutions results in a significant enhancement of the melt strength of the modified polymer, and a wide range of initiators turn out to be serviceable.
