An actuatable tray assembly for an aircraft passenger compartment may include a tray configured to stow underneath a monument positioned a select distance from an aircraft seat in the aircraft passenger compartment. The actuatable tray assembly may include an actuation assembly. The actuation assembly may include at least one linear rail coupled to an ottoman assembly positioned proximate to the aircraft seat in the aircraft passenger compartment. The ottoman assembly may include a frame assembly and an ottoman. The ottoman may be coupled to the frame assembly. The actuation assembly may include a carriage configured to actuate along the at least one linear rail. The carriage may be coupled to the tray. The carriage may be configured to actuate the tray from a stowed position to an extended position.

Actuatable tray assembly for an aircraft passenger compartment

A headrest removal assembly is disclosed. The assembly may include a plunger including a plunger shaft and lever portion. The assembly may include a compressible spring coupled to the plunger and configured to surround at least a portion of the plunger shaft. The plunger configured to translate the stopper between at least a first position and a second position when a force is applied to the lever portion of the plunger to cause the plunger to compress a portion of the compressible spring within the cavity of the base to cause the stopper to disengage from the cavity within the headrest support plate to cause the headrest removal assembly to disengage from the headrest support plate.

Quick release headrest removal assembly

An actuatable tray assembly for an aircraft passenger compartment may include a tray configured to stow underneath a first component positioned a select distance from an aircraft seat in the aircraft passenger compartment, and an actuation assembly. The actuation assembly may include an extension rail assembly. The extension rail assembly may include an extension rail coupled to the first component and coupled to the tray. The actuatable tray assembly may include a linear rail assembly. The linear rail assembly may include at least one linear rail coupled to a second component positioned proximate to the aircraft seat in the aircraft passenger compartment. The linear rail assembly may include a carriage configured to actuate along the at least one linear rail. The carriage may be coupled to the tray. The extension rail assembly and the carriage may be configured to actuate the tray from a stowed position to an extended position.

An ottoman for an aircraft passenger seat is disclosed. In one or more embodiments, the ottoman may include a base. The ottoman may include a frame. The ottoman may include a shell. The ottoman may include a resting surface. The ottoman may include an actuation assembly. The actuation assembly is configured to actuating the resting surface from a first actuation position relative to the base. The ottoman may include an attachment surface. The attachment surface provides and anchor point for the actuation assembly.

Adjustable ottoman

An actuatable tray assembly for an aircraft passenger compartment may include a tray and an actuation assembly. The tray may be configured to stow underneath a monument positioned proximate to an aircraft seat in the aircraft passenger compartment. The actuation assembly may include a bracket coupled to the monument. The bracket may include at least one track member. The actuation assembly may include at least one rail configured to actuate along the at least one track member. The actuation assembly may include a carriage coupled to the tray and configured to actuate the tray in a first direction along the at least one rail from a stowed position to a first extended position. The carriage and the at least one rail may be configured to actuate the tray in a second direction along the at least one track member from the first extended position to a second extended position.

An aircraft passenger seat configured to facilitate ergonomic alignment of a passenger while in a sleeping position, including a seat bottom; and a seatback including a central opening corresponding to a shoulder region of a passenger, and a sleep support assembly mounted within the central opening, the sleep support assembly including an adjustable support member spanning a central portion of the seatback, where the adjustable support member is configured for at least one of translation and deformation; where, when the seat bottom is aligned with the seatback in a lie-flat seating position, a load provided by the shoulder region of the passenger, at least in a side-sleeping position, causes translation and/or deformation of the adjustable support member toward a floor of an aircraft cabin, thereby facilitating ergonomic alignment of the spine.

Passenger seat having side sleep support assembly

An adjustable passenger seat having a seat recline mechanism and including a seat base having first and second non-intersecting seat path guide slots for guiding the travel of a translation guide assembly interconnected to a linear translating seat pan drive rail through the seat pan such that translational movement of the drive rail with respect to the seat base causes movement of the seat pan and the seat back between upright and flat seating positions.

Aircraft passenger seat recline mechanism

A seat articulation mechanism including a seat pan member that travels along a pathway defined in a seat articulation linkage as the entire mechanism translates between an upright and sleeping configuration through a lounge configuration. The mechanism further includes main and secondary translation linkages, one of which is driven by a single actuator to drive the mechanism between the upright and sleeping configurations.

Seat articulation mechanism

A reclining passenger seat, including a seat frame for being attached to a supporting deck, a seat bottom carried by the seat frame, and a seat back carried by the seat frame and moveable with the seat bottom from and between the upright and sleep positions. A legrest assembly is mounted adjacent a forward end of the seat bottom for being selectively extended generally downwardly and outwardly from the seat bottom for supporting the legs of the passenger. An armrest assembly is carried by the seat frame and includes an armrest moveable between a horizontal position with an upper support surface supporting a forearm of the seat occupant in the upright seat position and a forwardly-inclined, lowered position wherein the upper support surface is aligned with an upper surface of the seat bottom for providing a wider sleeping surface for the seat occupant when the seat is in the fully-reclined sleep position.
