Presented herein are techniques for synchronizing a cloud service and a key management service via a single indirect synchronous message sent by a client device. In particular, a cloud service receives a service request message sent by a client device. Embedded into the service request message is an encrypted key management message. The cloud service is configured to extract the encrypted key management message from the service request message and then send the encrypted key management message to the key management service.

Synchronization of key management services with cloud services

A MEMS device comprises a proof mass suspended above a substrate, one or more driving combs, and one or more sensing combs. During operation, a DC actuating potential in series with an AC modulation potential is applied to the proof mass, and an AC actuating potential is applied to the one or more driving combs such that the proof mass moves in an oscillatory manner. An inertial sensing system further comprises a sensing element configured to detect a rotation information coupled with an AC signal and an acceleration information coupled with a DC signal.

MEMS devices sensing both rotation and acceleration

A plurality of logical nodes are identified from a plurality of elements on a network, where the plurality of elements include security devices. One or more path entries may be determined for at least some of the logical nodes. Each path entry is associated with one of the logical nodes and specifies a set of communication packets, as well as a next node to receive the communication packets from the associated node. The path entries are used to characterize at least a substantial portion of a network path that is to carry communication packets in the set of communication packets.
