The disclosed embodiments provide a system for personalizing content authoring. During operation, the system obtains interaction data containing interactions between a set of users and a set of features of a content management system (CMS). Next, the system tracks preferences of the users toward the features in a set of attributes representing the interaction data and a context associated with the interactions. During access to the CMS by a user, the system uses the attributes to identify other users that are similar to the user. Next, the system uses attributes for the user and the other users to calculate a set of weighted ratings between the user and the features. The system then generates output for prioritizing, for the user, the features within a user interface of the CMS according to the set of weighted ratings.

Personalized content authoring driven by recommendations

Among other things, embodiments of the present disclosure discussed herein may be used to facilitate the authorization of services between service providers and other users (e.g. customers of the service provider) with accounts on a social network. Unlike conventional authorization systems, embodiments of the present disclosure allow authorizations to occur dynamically at any time, regardless of the physical locations of the service provider and the customer. Embodiments of the present disclosure can also provide service providers and customers information on authorization requests on demand.

Dynamic authorization using internet-based social networks

A method is implemented by a sensor device to associate data collected by the sensor device with an accurate time according to a world time standard without having to include a dedicated timing device within the sensor device, thereby reducing the cost and complexity of the sensor device. The method includes initiating a cellular receiver in the sensor device using a programmed carrier frequency, receiving at least one radio frame from a cellular transmitter on the carrier frequency; tagging data collected by the sensor device with a network tag derived from a most recent radio frame of the at least one radio frame in real-time, the network tag including a set of data from the most recent radio frame that is unique to the most recent radio frame.

High-precision time tagging for content synthesization

Methods, electronic resources, and electronic pairing entities are disclosed that control pairing between electronic resources and pairing entities for communications there between. A motion challenge is generated that identifies a physical motion that is to be followed by the pairing entity to obtain pairing to the electronic resource. A motion response by the pairing entity is compared to the motion challenge. Pairing between the pairing entity and the electronic resource is controlled in response to the comparison.

Controlling pairing of entities responsive to motion challenges and responses

A method implemented to provide voice calls in a network. The method comprises receiving a voice call initiation request at a caller agent, wherein the voice call initiation request is triggered by a caller initiating a voice call via a caller equipment, wherein the voice call is destined to a callee equipment communicatively coupled with the network to reach a caller, and wherein the caller agent and a callee agent interact with the caller equipment and the callee equipment respectively. The method further comprise sending a call connection message to the caller equipment, receiving an acknowledgment message from the caller equipment, and opening a voice channel between the caller and the caller agent without waiting for a callee agent response.

Method and system to provide priority indicating calls

A method for improving distribution of resources for a reasoning system including a plurality of data sources that each generate raw data that is to be processed by shallow reasoners before being provided to other components of the reasoning system to generate high-level inferred conclusions, the method including the steps of discovering available data sources from the plurality of data sources by discovery of protocol modules executed by devices associated with each data source; collecting capability information from each protocol module for each associated device; sending the capability information to a predictor server; requesting a resource allocation plan from the predictor server; and receiving the resource allocations plan from the predictor server, the resource allocation plane identifying devices associated with the plurality of data sources for executing shallow reasoners, the devices selected based on a usage model and the capability information.

A method, system and computer program in a software framework for enabling controlled communication between a generic application on the software framework and a service application in a second environment. An access request is transmitted by the generic application to an interface provision unit. The request includes an identity of the generic application. An instant interface is provided by the interface provision unit to the second environment. The instant interface is determined by the access request and dedicated for the generic application. A response is returned by the interface provision unit to the generic application including an address to the instant interface. Thereby the instant interface permits controlled communication between the generic application and the service application, thus enabling the new controlled communication without changes of the second environment.
