A terminal participates in a group call based on a Mission Critical Push to Talk (MCPTT) service. The terminal includes a baseband processor and an application processor. In some embodiments, the baseband processor receives an MCPTT service-related message from outside and determines whether to transmit the MCPTT service-related message to the application processor. The baseband processor may make the determination based on the MCPTT service-related message or based on an operation state of the application processor. As a result of the determining, some embodiments include performing, by at least one of the baseband processor and the application processor, MCPTT service-related operations.

A method of operating a first terminal participating in a Mission Critical Push To Talk (MCPTT) group call in an off-network includes: receiving a first floor grant message configured to indicate a floor transfer from a second terminal to a third terminal; storing a Synchronization Source (SSRC) of the third terminal included in the first floor grant message as an SSRC of a next floor arbitrator; receiving a media packet or a floor control message; and, if a transmitter of the media packet or the floor control message is the next floor arbitrator, updating an SSRC of a current floor arbitrator as the SSRC of the next floor arbitrator.

Method of operating terminal mission critical push to talk group participating in mission critical push to talk group call in off network

A method of displaying user information of a group including a plurality of terminals, the plurality of terminals including a first terminal manager a floor and a second terminal, the method including transmitting a floor grant message from the first terminal to the plurality of terminals, wherein the floor grant message indicates the second terminal as a transfer target of the floor; acquiring floor candidate information of the second terminal by using a floor request queue; receiving a real-time transport protocol media packet within a predetermined time; determining whether the RTP media packet is from the second terminal; and displaying second terminal user information using the floor candidate information based on a result of the determining.
