Aspects of this disclosure relate to a parallel hybrid acoustic passive filter. The parallel hybrid acoustic passive filter includes a first sub-filter and a second sub-filter. The first sub-filter includes a first acoustic resonator and a first non-acoustic passive component. The second sub-filter includes a second acoustic resonator and second first non-acoustic passive component. The first sub-filter and the second sub-filter are together arranged to filter a radio frequency signal. The parallel hybrid acoustic filter can be a band pass filter or a band stop filter, for example. Related multiplexers, wireless communication devices, and methods are disclosed.

Power amplifier supply networks with harmonic terminations are disclosed. In certain embodiments, a power amplifier system includes a first power amplifier that amplifies a first radio frequency (RF) signal of a first fundamental frequency, a second power amplifier that amplifies a second RF signal of a second fundamental frequency, and a power amplifier supply network that distributes a power amplifier supply voltage to the first power amplifier at a first distribution node and to the second power amplifier at a second distribution node. The power amplifier supply network includes a first harmonic termination circuit connected to the first distribution node that provide an open circuit at about twice the first fundamental frequency, and a second harmonic termination circuit connected to the second distribution node and that provides an open circuit at about twice the fundamental frequency.

The hybrid acoustic LC filter includes a hybrid passive/acoustic and a non-acoustic LC filter cascaded with the hybrid passive/acoustic filter. Wideband power combiners and splitters are provided herein. In certain embodiments, a power combiner/splitter is implemented with a first coil connecting a first port and a second port, and a second coil connecting a third port and a fourth port. The first coil and the second coil are inductively coupled to one another. For example, the first coil and the second coil can be formed using adjacent conductive layers of a semiconductor chip, an integrated passive device, or a laminate. The power combiner/splitter further includes a fifth port tapping a center of the first coil and a sixth port tapping a center of the second coil. The fifth port and the sixth port serve to connect capacitors and/or other impedance to the center of the coils to thereby provide wideband operation.

Apparatus and methods for quadrature combined Doherty amplifiers are provided herein. In certain embodiments, a separator is used to separate a radio frequency (RF) input signal into a plurality of input signal components that are amplified by a pair of Doherty amplifiers operating in quadrature. A dual-band antenna is disclosed, comprising a radiating body, a shorting element, and a feeding element. The radiating body comprises a plurality of radiating portions located in a first, a second, a third, and a fourth planes, respectively. The radiating portions located in the first, the second, and the third planes transmit and/or receive signals in a first frequency band.
