The present disclosure relates to a curable composition comprising: (A) a polyolefin; (B) siliceous earth; (C) a crosslinking agent; (D) a crosslinking co-agent; and, optionally, (E) an additive component, where the curable composition demonstrates improved electrical properties. The present disclosure further relates to a crosslinked polymer composition that is the reaction product of the curable composition, where improved electrical properties are demonstrated as well.

Polyolefin compositions having improved volume resistivity

The present application relates to a composition comprising the following components: A) at least one ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer; B) a peroxide; C) at least one filler selected from one or more carbon black samples, MgO, or a combination thereof; and optionally, at least one filler selected from silica, ZnO, CaCO, Al (OH), Mg (OH), or a combination thereof; D) a calculated P content from 0.010 wt % to 0.300 wt %, based on the weight of the composition, and wherein the calculated P content is the calculated content the phosphorus element present in one or more phosphate compounds selected from Structure 1 below: O═P (OR1) (OR2) (OR3) (Structure 1), wherein R1, R2 and R3 are each, independently, selected from i) a non-aromatic hydrocarbon or ii) a non-aromatic hydrocarbon comprising at least one heteroatom, excluding P.

Phosphate enhanced, heat resistant ethylene/alpha-olefin interpolymer compositions

A composition comprises (A) an ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene interpolymer; (B) a peroxide comprising at least one peroxide bond; and (C) a bis-TEMPO compound having the Structure (I), wherein Rare each independently H or a C-Calkyl group; X is S, O, N, P, Se, a carbonyl group, a carboxyl group, an amide group, an azo group, an imino group, a carbamate group, a peroxy group, a phosphono group, a phosphate group, a sulfonyl group, a sulfinyl group, a sulfonate ester group, a sulfonate ester group, or combinations thereof; Y is a substitute or unsubstituted aliphatic alkyl group or aromatic alkyl group, a heterocyclic group, a siloxane group, an ethylene glycol group, an imide group, or combinations thereof; and n is greater than 1. The ratio of the molar amount of nitroxide groups of component (C) to the molar amount of the peroxide bonds of component (B) is from 0.100:1.000 to 2.000:1.000.

Air-curable ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene interpolymer composition

A composition is composed of (A) an ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene TEMPO compound having the Structure (I) and (D) a peroxide. The molar ratio of isocyanate groups of Component (B) to the functional groups of Component (C) is from 0.80 to 1.10. A composition is composed of (A) an ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene interpolymer; a second composition comprising a reaction mixture comprising (B) an isocyanate comprising at least two isocyanate groups and (C) a TEMPO compound having the Structure (I) and (D) a peroxide, wherein the molar ratio of isocyanate groups of Component (B) to the functional groups of Component (C) is from 0.80 to 1.10. In Structure I, R, R, Rand Rare each independently selected from H and C-Calkyl groups and X is a functional group selected from OH and NH. 

Air curable ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene interpolymer composition

A composition comprising the following components: A) an ethylene/alpha-olefin/diene interpolymer with MV (1+4, 125&#xb0; C.)&#x2265;50; B) an ethylene/alpha-olefin copolymer with MV (1+4, 125&#xb0; C.)&#x3c;70; C) MgO; D) at least one carbon black filler; E) at least one hindered amine antioxidant; F) at least one peroxide.

Ethylene/alpha olefin interpolymer compositions with improved continuous high temperature resistance

A composition comprising the following components: A) an ethylene/&#x3b1;-olefin/non-conjugated diene interpolymer; B) a peroxide; C) at least one multi-vinyl cyclic siloxane selected from Structure 1 below: Structure 1, wherein n is an integer greater than, or equal to, 1; and each R1 is independently selected from the following: a (C-C) alkenyl, or a HC&#x2550;C(R)&#x2014;C(&#x2550;O)&#x2014;O&#x2014;(CH)&#x2014;, and wherein Ris H or methyl, and m is an integer from 1 to 4; and each R2 is independently selected from the following: H, a (C-C) alkyl, a (C-C) alkenyl, a phenyl, or a HC&#x2550;C(R)&#x2014;C(&#x2550;O)&#x2014;O&#x2014;(CH)&#x2014;, wherein Ris H or methyl, and m is an integer from 1 to 4.
