An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, a power leg, a ground leg, a power contact and a ground contact. The insulating housing has a peripheral wall. At least two perforations are defined on the peripheral wall. At least two leg recesses are formed on the peripheral wall. The perforations and the leg recesses are staggered along the peripheral wall. The power leg and the ground leg are both received in the peripheral wall of the insulating housing and are both have leg portions being exposed from the leg recesses. The power contact and the ground contact are both located in the perforations. As described above, manufacture material of the electrical connector is saved.

Electrical connector

An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, at least one transmission module mounted in the insulating housing, and a shell surrounding the insulating housing. The at least one transmission module includes a terminal assembly, a flexible printed circuit board and at least one pad. The terminal assembly is adhered to the flexible printed circuit board. The terminal assembly has at least one terminal which has a fastening portion. One end of the fastening portion is arched downward to form a bending portion. The flexible printed circuit board has a linking portion, and at least one conductive piece disposed to an inner surface of the linking portion. The fastening portion and the bending portion of the at least one terminal are mounted to the flexible printed circuit board. The at least one pad is disposed to the at least one conductive piece.

A socket connector includes an insulating housing, a sliding block, a resilient element, a detection terminal assembly assembled to a rear end of the insulating housing, a connection terminal assembly assembled to the rear end of the insulating housing, at least one ground element, and an outer shell surrounding the insulating housing. A top of the insulating housing has a restricting groove. A rear of the restricting groove extends rearward to form a sliding groove. At least one side surface of the insulating housing is recessed inward to form at least one ground groove. A rear of a bottom of connecting space extends downward and rearward to form a holding groove. The sliding block is mounted in the sliding groove. The at least one ground element is received in the at least one ground groove. The resilient element is assembled to a top of the insulating housing.

Socket connector

A plug connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of detecting terminals, a plurality of connection terminals, an outer shell and at least one ground piece. The insulating housing has a plurality of connection terminal grooves and a plurality of detecting terminal grooves. The plurality of the detecting terminals are assembled in the plurality of the detecting terminal grooves separately. The plurality of the connection terminals are assembled in the plurality of the connection terminal grooves separately. The outer shell surrounds the insulating housing. A top surface of the outer shell protrudes upward and then is bent frontward to form a locking portion. The at least one ground piece is mounted to at least one side of the insulating housing, and a portion of the at least one ground piece is exposed outside from the insulating housing and the outer shell. A receptacle connector is to receive the plug connector and includes a sliding block to cover the detecting terminals and to be raised by the plug connector as it is inserted.

Plug connector

A plug connector includes an insulating housing, and a terminal surrounding the insulating housing. The insulating housing has a fastening portion. Two opposite sides of a top of the fastening portion protrude upward and are arched outward to form two fastening pieces. A fastening slot is formed among a lateral wall, an inner wall and a bottom wall of the terminal. Two portions of a top surface of the lateral wall protrude upward to form two insertion portions. The fastening portion is fastened in the fastening slot. One of the two insertion portions is located between one side of one of the two fastening pieces and one side of the other fastening piece. The other insertion portion is located between the other side of the one of the two fastening pieces and the other side of the other fastening piece.

Plug connector and terminal applied thereto

An electrical connector mounted to a circuit board, includes an insulating housing, a plurality of terminals integrally molded to the insulating housing, a shell surrounding the insulating housing, and an upper cover covered on the circuit board. The shell has at least one lower fastening piece. At least one tongue board of the circuit board is fastened on the at least one lower fastening piece. Circuit lines equipped on a bottom surface of the at least one tongue board are embedded in lower embedding slots of the at least one lower fastening piece. The upper cover has at least one upper fastening piece. The at least one upper fastening piece is fastened on the at least one tongue board. Circuit lines equipped on a top surface of the at least one tongue board are embedded in upper embedding slots of the at least one upper fastening piece.

A connector includes an insulating housing having a rear wall of which a front side extends forward to form a tongue portion and a back side defines a concave groove in accordance with the tongue portion. The tongue portion defines a plurality of terminal grooves. A plurality of terminals each has a fixing portion fixed in a rear of the terminal groove with a rear end thereof further projecting into the concave groove, a contact portion disposed in the terminal groove, and a soldering tail stretching outside the insulating housing. A water-proof member is formed in the concave groove by injecting molten water-proof colloid in the concave groove to seal up intervals between the fixing portions of the terminals and inner sides of the rears of the terminal grooves. A metal shell is molded in the insulating housing.

I/O connector

An audio jack connector adapted for soldering on a circuit board and engaging with an audio plug connector includes an insulating housing and a plurality of terminals. The insulating housing has a main body, and an insertion portion connecting with one side of the main body. The insertion portion defines an insertion hole for receiving the audio plug connector therein. The main body defines a plurality of terminal grooves with bottoms thereof passing through a bottom surface of the main body. The insulating housing defines a plurality of mouths communicating between the insertion hole and the terminal grooves. The terminals are disposed in the terminal grooves. Each terminal has a contact portion projecting into the insertion hole through the mouth to electrically contact with the audio plug connector, and a soldering portion received in the bottom of the terminal groove to be soldered on the circuit board.

Audio jack connector

An audio jack connector includes a housing and a terminal group. The housing has an insertion hole extending inward from the front of the housing. The bottom of the base defines at least one signal terminal recess and an auxiliary terminal recess, a first aperture is defined in the bottom of the auxiliary terminal recess and communicates with the signal terminal recess. The terminal group has at least one signal terminal and an auxiliary terminal received in the signal terminal recess and the auxiliary terminal recess respectively. The signal terminal has a contact portion projecting into the insertion hole and an elastic portion extending from the end of the contact portion. The auxiliary terminal has a transverse fixed portion and a first connecting portion extending upward and then longitudinally from one end of the fixed portion. One part of the first connecting portion is jammed in the first aperture, and the other part of the first connecting portion projects into the signal terminal recess.

An electrical connector includes a housing defining a plurality of terminal-receiving passages therein and two passages at the opposite sides. The passages are open at the front end and close at the back end. A plurality of terminals is contained in the terminal-receiving passages and a pair of latches is received in the two passages respectively. A shelter having a top plate and a bottom plate encloses the housing. The opposite sides of the bottom plate extend a mount prong respectively. Each latch includes an arm, a latching section projecting at one end of the arm and a welding portion at the other end. The latching section projects out of the passage sidewards and the welding portion extends forwards beyond the passage for contacting with the mount prong of the shelter.
