Provided is a method for multi-information fusion of gas sensitivity and chromatography and on-site detection and analysis of flavor substances using an electronic nose instrument. The electronic nose instrument includes a gas sensor array module (I), a capillary gas chromatographic column module (II), an automatic headspace sampling module (III), a computer control and data analysis module (IV), an automatic lifter (V) for headspace sampling, a large-volume headspace vapor generation device (VI) and two auxiliary gas sources (VII-, VII-). In the gas sampling period of T0-300-600 s, the gas sensor array module and the gas chromatography module have different flow rates, volumes and staring sampling time points of gas sampling, but have synchronous selection and analysis time points of multiple sensitive information. The electronic nose instrument obtains a 69-dimensional combined pattern, including steady-state response peak values, corresponding peak time points as well as under-curve areas, through each on-site real-time detection to a tested sample. The electronic nose instrument detects a large number of odorous samples to establish a big odor data. On this basis, the normalization fusion preprocessing is done, and the cascade machine learning model realizes both an on-site recognition of many foods, condiments, fragrances and flavors, and petroleum waxes and a real-time quantitative prediction of their odor quality grades and many key component concentrations.

System and methods for generating synthetic data according to a plurality of options are provided. According to a first option, synthetic data is generated based on an indication of one or more target distributions. According to a second option, a one or more target distributions are determined based on a sample data set, and synthetic data is generated based on the determined target distribution(s). According to a third option, a temporary synthetic data set is generated based on an indication of one or more target distributions, matches between the temporary synthetic data set and a sample data set are then identified, and a synthetic data set is then generated based on the identified matches. A system may automatically determine which option to leverage based on whether a user provides a sample data set, one or more target distributions, or both.

The present disclosure may provide a magnetic resonance (MR) system. The MR system may include a magnet assembly, a gradient coil assembly, and a shim assembly. The magnet assembly may be configured to generate a main magnetic field. The magnet assembly may include a magnet and a cryostat configured to cool the magnet located inside the cryostat. The cryostat may form a bore. The gradient coil assembly may be configured to generate a gradient magnetic field. The gradient coil assembly may be located inside the bore. The shim assembly may be configured to at least partially shield a stray field which is generated by the gradient coil assembly and to which the magnet is subjected. The shim assembly may be located outside the gradient coil assembly.

Linear-feedback shift registers (LFSRs) for generating bounded random numbers (e.g., random numbers within a narrower range than those generated by a conventional LFSR of the same width) are described. In one embodiment, a bounded LFSR for generating an n-bit value comprises an m-bit LFSR with a range of 2random numbers and an n−m bit LFSR with a range of 2−1−k random numbers. The bounded LFSR further comprises logic to skip k values from a repeatable sequence of the n−m bit LFSR, which can, for example, be configured during the design of the bounded LFSR. The bounded LFSR provides bounded random numbers based on the outputs of the m-bit LFSR and the n−m bit LFSR. In one embodiment, the bounded random number generated by the bounded LFSR is used as a random address in a row hammer mitigation system.

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method of exploiting underground resources with a negative thixotropic fluid, which induces the fault or the fracture to slip by replacing a conventional mode of injecting water with a mode of injecting the negative thixotropic fluid. According to the negative thixotropy of the injected fluid, when the fault or the fracture does not slip, viscosity of the negative thixotropic fluid is low, and the negative thixotropic fluid could flow in the fracture network. When the fault or the fracture slips, a great shear strain rate is generated, such that the viscosity of the negative thixotropic fluid is rapidly increased with the shear strain rate, to generate a great resistance force, thereby preventing the fault from further slipping.
