A display device includes: a substrate; a plurality of light emitting parts on the substrate, and to emit light; a plurality of light sensing parts on the substrate, and to sense incident light; a bank layer partitioning the plurality of light emitting parts and the plurality of light sensing parts; and a touch sensing layer including a touch electrode on the bank layer. A first distance between one light sensing part from among the plurality of light sensing parts and the touch electrode in one direction is smaller than a second distance between a first light emitting part of the plurality of light emitting parts and the touch electrode in the one direction.

A display device and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. A display device comprises a substrate, a first planarization layer disposed on the substrate, the first planarization layer including a recessed portion recessed from an upper surface of the first planarization layer, a first electrode disposed on an upper surface and side surfaces of the recessed portion formed in the first planarization layer, a pixel electrode disposed on the upper surface of the first planarization layer to be spaced apart from the first electrode, a photoelectric conversion layer disposed on the first electrode, and a light-emitting layer disposed on the pixel electrode.

Display device and method of manufacturing the same

A display device according to embodiments of the disclosure includes a base layer, a pixel layer disposed on the base layer and including a light emitting element and a light receiving element, an encapsulation layer covering the pixel layer, a black matrix disposed on the encapsulation layer and including a first opening disposed in a region corresponding to the light receiving element and a second opening disposed in a region corresponding to the light emitting element, a color filter disposed on the black matrix, a refractive layer disposed on the color filter and including a first refractive layer including a third opening disposed in a region corresponding to the first opening and a second refractive layer covering the first refractive layer, and a window disposed on the refractive layer. A cross section of the third opening has a first inclined surface.

Display device including a photo sensor

A device comprises a substrate, a plurality of emission portions disposed on the substrate and emitting light, a plurality of light sensing portions disposed on the substrate and sensing an incident light, a bank layer partitioning the plurality of emission portions and the plurality of light sensing portions, and a touch sensing layer disposed on the bank layer. The touch sensing layer comprises a first touch insulating pattern disposed on the bank layer and partitioning a light opening overlapping the plurality of light sensing portions and a touch electrode disposed on the first touch insulating pattern. A cross-sectional shape of the first touch insulating pattern has a reverse tapered shape having a width that decreases towards a top surface of the substrate.

A display device includes light emitting pixels that emit light, photosensors each controlling a sensed current according to an incident light, and a read-out circuit that senses the sensed current of each of the photosensors and converts the sensed current into digital sensed data. In a sensing mode including a first frame period and a second frame period, the light emitting pixels include first sensing pixels that emit the light during the first frame period and second sensing pixels that do not emit the light during the first frame period, the photosensors include first photosensors and second photosensors, and a first distance between any one of the first sensing pixels and a first photosensor adjacent to the first sensing pixel among the first photosensors is greater than a second distance between the first sensing pixel and a second photosensor adjacent to the first sensing pixel among the second photosensors.

A fingerprint sensor for a display device includes a light sensing layer including a light sensing element, and an optical layer including a light transmitter disposed in a light-transmitting area and a light blocker disposed in a light-blocking area. The light-transmitting area includes a plurality of unit light-transmitting areas separated by the light-blocking area, and each of the unit light-transmitting areas has a first width and the light-blocking area has a second width, the first width being in a range of about 5 times to about 200 times the second width.
