A method and device for detecting equivalent load of wind turbine are provided. The method includes: detecting environment data of each wind turbine of multiple wind turbines in wind farm in each detection period; and in each detection period, detecting load of one or more calibration wind turbines in the multiple wind turbines, calculating equivalent load of the calibration wind turbines based on detected load, and determining equivalent load of each wind turbine based on detected environment data of each wind turbine with load estimation model, where load estimation model represents relation between environment data and equivalent load of wind turbine, and before load estimation model is applied in each detection period, parameter of load estimation model is calibrated based on the equivalent load calculated in current detection period and the equivalent load of the calibration wind turbines determined with load estimation model in previous detection period.

The invention provides for a wind turbine comprising a rotor comprising at least one rotor blade, a yaw controlling system including yaw control means, a yaw mechanism comprising one or more yaw motors and a yaw bearing, registration means for registering an idling power producing situation of the wind turbine in relation to a utility grid, and detection means for detecting edgewise oscillations in one or more of the blades. The yaw controlling system is adapted for changing the yaw position of the wind turbine nacelle when said registration means registers that said wind turbine is operating in an idling power producing situation and the detection means detects edgewise oscillations in one or more of the rotor blades, hereby damping or eliminating the edgewise oscillations. The invention relates to a method for damping tower oscillations in the tower of an active stall controlled wind turbine. The method comprises the steps of operating two or more blades of the wind turbine in a stall condition, detecting if the tower oscillates beyond a predefined level, and establishing different stall conditions between at least two of the blades, wherein the different stall conditions are established by offsetting the pitch angle of at least a first blade in relation to the pitch angle of one further blade.
