A system includes a first computer hosting a version control system, the version control system providing a version control system repository configured to store one or more temporary files, wherein the version control system repository is configured to allow concurrent access of the temporary files by a plurality of computers or computer processes. Also the version control system repository is deleted by the first computer or by one of the plurality of computers or computer processes when the temporary files are no longer needed.

Certain embodiments of the invention may include systems, methods, and apparatus for locating possible fault locations in an electrical power network. According to an example embodiment of the invention, a method is provided for locating possible fault locations in an electrical power network. The method can include receiving fault information including one or more of: an identifier associated with at least one tripping device or a fault impedance value associated with a faulted section of the electrical power network; determining a fault direction; and generating a list of possible fault locations based at least in part on the received fault information and the fault direction.

Systems, methods, and apparatus for locating possible fault locations in an electrical power network

A monitoring system is provided. The monitoring system includes at least one sensor that is configured to detect at least one fault within a power generation system. Moreover, the monitoring system includes a computing device that is coupled to the sensor. The computing device includes an interface that is configured to receive a signal representative of the fault. The computing device also includes a processor that is programmed to identify a location of the fault by considering a plurality of potential fault locations and the processor is programmed to determine at least one restoration solution to restore the fault by considering a plurality of potential restoration solutions.

Systems and methods to monitor the operation of a power generation system

A system includes a first computer configured to store and run a computer program. The computer program includes an internal interface with tangible machine-readable instructions stored on the first computer, to provide communications between the computer program and external computers and our computer processes. The system also includes a command interpreter configured to interface with the computer program through the internal interface. The command interpreter includes tangible machine-readable instructions to detect a script file; generate one or more command objects, interpretable by the internal interface, representative of a functionality defined in the script file; generate a command script comprising the generated command objects; and execute the command script by executing at least a portion of the machine-readable instructions in the internal interface.

Circuit component connectivity evaluation and validation method provides comparing and validating the correctness of electrical phase connectivity at connection nodes between conducting components within a circuit model of a power distribution network or other circuit. Phase connectivity requirements of each connected component/device/equipment in a particular circuit are obtained from a Common Interface Model (CIM) file containing parameter data describing the circuit. XML data strings obtained from the CIM file are parsed into enumerated data objects representing each component's phase connectivity requirements and assigned unique four bit binary phase connectivity mask values indicative of the particular electrical phase connectivity requirements of each component. Associated mask values corresponding to connection nodes between pairs of connected components are bit-wise logically 'AND'ed and the result compared to each component's bit mask to validate that each connected component in the circuit is a correct phase type match with other components to which it is connected.
