A spray painting nozzle designed as a spindle supporting a gas bearing and incorporating a stationary part and a part rotatably supported in relation thereto, which latter carries a rotatable spray painting cup and being adapted to be driven by a drive unit, whereby the spray painting cup is equipped with a supporting system comprising mutually plane-parallel bearing surfaces formed in the stationary and in the rotatable parts, and with a supply of a gaseous medium for causing a slot generated as an axial gas bearing therebetween, the rotatable part being radially guided by a magnetic force for centering the rotatable part in relation to the stationary part, the supporting system further being equipped with symmetrically provided holder magnets for limitation of the size of the slot, and where for supply of spray medium to the spray painting cup, there is provided a supply path extending through the plane of the gas bearing.

Method and a device in a drive system for a DC-motor including an inverter and a multiple phase synchronous motor with a permanent magnet rotor, and provided with a rotor position detection means in order to generate a rotation dependent logical position signal or signals. An optimization is carried out, which is based on the rotation dependent logical signals (POS1, POS2, POS3) from said rotor position detection means whereby the commutation points each are displaced such, that at said optimization minimum input current is detected to eliminate poor operation caused by unsymmetries in the motor iron or windings as well as unsymmetries of the rotor magnet and thereby optimize motor performance with respect to e.g. efficiency at present velocity and load, maximum acceleration and motor vibrations.

System and method for optimally driving a DC motor

A rotatable element is arranged on a supporting member. The element is freely rotatable and displaceable radially by being held in position by two portions attracting each other, said portions being made of magnetic material, and that a plane slot separates the supporting member and the element. The driving of the element can be effected thereby that the element forms or incorporates a rotor in an electromotor, the stator of which is arranged in an area of the supporting member.

Device with a thrust bearing

The invention refers to a device for supporting and carrying, e.g. a centrifugal rotor. For making possible an adjustment of the rotor thus that any possible unbalance is eliminated as far as possible, the rotor is supported upon a supporting element, on which it is radially displaceable. Between the rotor and the supporting element is provided a bearing part. This is rotatable and displaceable laterally on the supporting element and carries the rotor with means, which incorporate deformable members, which allow a tilting of the rotor upon the bearing part.

The invention relates to a gas bearing with a bearing surface arranged on a gas permeable element to which a pressure medium can be supplied from an external source. The bearing surface is arranged on a less permeable surface layer, through which holes are made. In order to ensure good gas flow through the holes, the holes extend into the porous material a distance corresponding to at least half the diameter of the holes, and those portions of the holes which are situated inside said surface layer are limited by porous material.

A device for disinfecting the gap between two relatively movable elements such as a shaft and housing wherein a gap is defined by those elements and the gap contains a gaseous medium which is heated by an adjacent heating loop to provide a germicidal barrier in the gap.

Germicidal barrier

A seal comprising a gap between e.g. a flange (5) on a shaft and an element (6) arranged in a surrounding housing (2) is used for separating a fluid in a space (3) in the housing from the space (4) surrounding the housing. A pressurized fluid is supplied to the gap via a conduit (8) and a pocket (7) and flows to the space (3) and the space (4). The gap tends to be closed by the fact that the element (6) is elastically supported in the housing (2) by ductile membranes (10,11) and is pressed against the flange (5) by the pressure in the space between the membranes.
