The invention relates to a filter unit for filtering gaseous fluids, comprising a filter insert part with a filter medium and a sealing element, said element being clamped between sealing struts on parts of the filter housing. The clamping force produced by the sealing struts that lie opposite one another runs at least approximately perpendicularly to the mounting direction of the housing parts.

A filter medium for removing metallic particles, in particular for liquid filtration, is provided. The filter medium is comprised of a substrate, an adhesive layer containing magnetic particles applied onto the substrate, and at least one nanofiber layer arranged on the adhesive layer.

A filter medium, in particular for air filtration, is provided with a substrate and at least one nanofiber layer applied onto the substrate. The nanofiber layer has cavities in or between the nanofibers. In a method for producing the nanofiber layer, a spinning solution for electrospinning from a polymer solution by a spinning electrode and a counter electrode is provided, wherein electrical voltage is applied to the spinning solution and air is passed through the spinning solution. The nanofibers produced by the spinning electrode are deposited onto the substrate that is moved past the counter electrode.

In a method for producing a polyamide nanofiber product that contains PTFE particles, a spinning solution containing polyamide, PTFE, and a conductivity-increasing additive is provided and nanofibers are produced by electrospinning from the spinning solution. The conductivity-increasing additive is an acid-resistant additive; a surfactant additive; or an acid-resistant and surfactant additive and contains one or more organic salts. The polyamide nanofiber product with PTFE particles is used in filter media and is especially applied to a filter layer of cellulose or synthetic material.
