Some invention embodiments relate to an implant having a base body composed of a biocorrodible magnesium alloy and a polylactide coating. The implant is characterized in that the coating contains seed crystals and/or lipophilic substances as additives.

The present invention relates to an implant (), and particularly to an intraluminal endoprosthesis, comprising a body and at least one abluminal layer () disposed on the body, the abluminal layer preferably containing at least one pharmaceutically active substance. In order to protect the abluminal layer () from delamination or shearing, the abluminal layer () is additionally fastened to the implant body at least in a transition region () by way of at least one anchoring layer () disposed on the abluminal layer (). In addition, methods for producing such an implant are described.

Implant and method for producing the same

An endoprosthesis, in particular an intraluminal endoprosthesis, for example a stent, having a basic mesh composed of an at least predominantly biodegradable material, and a coating provided on the biodegradable material is proposed. For better control of the degradation the basic mesh is essentially completely covered by a coating which contains parylene, preferably at least predominantly parylene, particularly preferably parylene C or parylene N, and the basic mesh is essentially completely covered by the coating, whereby the thickness of the coating is between approximately 0.1 &#x3bc;m and approximately 10 &#x3bc;m, preferably between approximately 0.4 &#x3bc;m and approximately 7 &#x3bc;m, particularly preferably between approximately 1 &#x3bc;m and approximately 5 &#x3bc;m. Also proposed is a method for manufacturing such an endoprosthesis.

Endoprosthesis

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing an implant, in particular an intraluminal endoprosthesis, with a body containing metallic material, preferably iron. The method includes the following steps to control degradation of the implant: (i) providing the body of the implant; and (ii) tribochemically treating at least part of the body surface by means of beam particles. An implant produced in this way is also described.
