A display apparatus which comprises an image module for generating an image, a spectacle-like frame which carries the image module, and wherein the spectacle-like frame comprises a front portion with a nose support, as well as two lateral temples mounted to the front portion. At least one of the temples has shiftably mounted to it a holding element. The holding element comprises a first portion extending downwards from the temple, and a second portion connected with the lower end of the first portion, the second portion extending from the lower end of the first portion in a direction pointing away from the front portion.

Display apparatus

A method for improving vision of a low-vision person and a viewing aid therefore are disclosed. An image is recorded by means of an image recording device, the image being intermediately stored within an image memory and modified and presented to the eyes of the person by means of an image display device being mounted on the head of the person. An image is recorded within a recording mode and the modified image is transferred to the image display device within a display mode. The display mode is initiated in an interval in time with regard to the image recording mode, the interval in time being manually adjustable.

Method for improving vision of a low-vision person and viewing aid

An HMD device is provided, comprising a frame, which is mountable on the head of a user, an image-generating device mounted on said frame and comprising projection optics, a connecting device and glasses for correcting an eye deficiency of the user, said glasses not having sides and said glasses being releasably connectable with said frame by said connecting device, said glasses being arranged following said projection optics when the glasses are connected with the frame.
