The display panel includes: a color film substrate, an array substrate, at least one light sensitive unit, and collimating apertures penetrating a portion of film layers of the color film substrate and the array substrate along a first direction perpendicular to the display panel. The collimating apertures and the at least one light sensitive unit are disposed in a one-to-one correspondence. The color film substrate includes a first substrate, a first light-blocking layer with first openings, and at least one second light-blocking layer with second openings. The array substrate includes a third light-blocking layer with third openings. An orthographic projection of each first opening, an orthographic projection of a corresponding second opening, and an orthographic projection of a corresponding third opening, at least partially overlap an orthographic projection of a corresponding collimating aperture on the first substrate.

Display panel and display device

Display panel and display device are provided. The display panel includes: a first substrate, a second substrate, and a liquid crystal layer between the first substrate and the second substrate. The first substrate includes a first base substrate and an optical sensor disposed on the first base substrate. The second substrate includes a second base substrate, a black matrix disposed on the second base substrate, and a light collecting structure disposed on a side of the black matrix adjacent to the first substrate. The optical sensor and the light collecting structure overlap each other in a direction perpendicular to the display panel. The light collecting structure includes at least one transparent protrusion protruded along a direction perpendicular to a surface of the first or second substrate and from the second substrate to the first substrate. The light collecting structure has a refractive index larger than the liquid crystal layer.

Backlight module and display device are provided. The backlight module includes: a first substrate, a drive circuit on a side of the first substrate, a plurality of light-emitting elements and a plurality of fingerprint recognition elements, where the drive circuit includes a first drive circuit and a second drive circuit; the plurality of the light-emitting elements is on a side of the drive circuit away from the first substrate; the light-emitting element is electrically connected to the first drive circuit; the plurality of the light-emitting elements is arranged in an array structure; the plurality of the fingerprint recognition elements and the plurality of the light-emitting elements are on a same side of the first substrate; and the fingerprint recognition element is electrically connected to the second drive circuit.

Backlight module and display device

An irregular display panel and a display device are provided. A display region has an irregular boundary. The display panel includes low-luminance pixels, and normal pixels arranged away from the irregular boundary. The pixel rows and/or the pixel columns include pixel groups each including a first pixel group and a second pixel group. The number of pixels adjacent to the irregular boundary in the first pixel group is greater than that in the second pixel group, and the number of low-luminance pixels of the first pixel group is greater than or equal to that of the second pixel group. The pixel includes at least three sub pixels each including an electrode having at least one slit. The total slit lengths of the low-luminance pixels in a same pixel group increase gradually in a direction from the irregular boundary to the display region.

Irregular display panel and display device

The present disclosure relates to a backlight module, a method for manufacturing the backlight module, and a display device. The backlight module includes a substrate, a plurality of LED chips, and a first film having a plurality of channels. Each channel is filled with a channel filling portion. A refractive index n1 of the first film is smaller than a refractive index of the channel filling portion is n2. The first film has a first region and second region. Channels in the first region are astigmatism holes for diverging the light having a high intensity and channels in the second region are light-converging holes for converging the light having a low intensity, thereby alleviating or eliminating the starry phenomenon.

Curved surface display panel and display device

A display panel comprises a display region, a non-display region, and a black matrix. The display region includes a plurality of pixels arranged in both a first direction and a second direction, where the plurality of pixels are arranged in the first direction to form a plurality of pixel rows and, meanwhile, arranged in the second direction to form a plurality of pixel columns, and a pixel includes a light-transmitting area. The black matrix does not overlap with the light-transmitting area. The display region includes at least one irregular edge intersecting both the first direction and the second direction. The plurality of pixels include a plurality of first pixels intersecting the at least one irregular edge and a plurality of second pixels without intersecting the at least one irregular edge, and the light-transmitting area of the first pixel is smaller than the light-transmitting area of the second pixel.

Display panel and display apparatus

A profiled display panel and a display device are provided. A display region of the profiled display panel has a profiled border. The profiled display panel includes a plurality of pixels including low-brightness pixels and regular pixels. Brightness of the low-brightness pixels is lower than brightness of the regular pixels under same driving voltage. The plurality of pixels forms a plurality of pixel rows extending in first direction and a plurality of pixel columns extending in second direction. Each of the pixel rows or the pixel columns includes at least one pixel group including the low-brightness pixels at one end of the pixel group and the regular pixels at the other end, and the regular pixels are arranged away from the profiled border. An aperture area of the respective low-brightness pixels in same pixel group is gradually increased in direction from the profiled border to the display region.

A profiled display panel is provided, the display region thereof has profiled border. The profiled display panel comprises low-brightness pixels and regular pixels. The pixels form pixel rows and pixel columns. The pixel row or column comprises pixel group comprising first and second pixel group. The number of pixels adjacent to the profiled border in first pixel group is greater than that of in second pixel group. The number of the low-brightness pixels in first pixel group is greater than or equal to that of in second pixel group. The wiring direction of the data line is second direction. The pixel comprises at least three sub-pixels. An aperture height of the sub-pixels in the low-brightness pixel is smaller than that of in the regular pixel along second direction. An aperture area of the low-brightness pixel is gradually increased in a direction from the profiled border to the display region.

A display panel and a display apparatus are provided. The display panel comprises a display region including an irregular-shaped display area, and a non-display region adjacent to the display region. The irregular-shaped display area includes a plurality of pixels arranged in an array. Adjacent pixel rows and/or adjacent pixel columns are indented by at least one pixel at a periphery of the irregular-shaped display area. The at least one indented pixel between the adjacent pixel rows and/or the adjacent pixel columns is a misaligned pixel. A non-rectangular shape display panel comprises a non-rectangular shape display region and a non-display region.
